Honoring/Gifting Parents - Help!
Anyone doing a special honoring/gift exchange during the ceremony to their parents? I would love to do this for mine, they have been the best parents anyone could ever ask for and I'm thankful for all they've done and sacrificed for me. But I'm not sure how to go about this. And what gift should I present them with? I don't want any old thing or the typical flowers. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions??

Honoring/Gifting Parents - Help!
FHs mother passed away almost 4 years ago. We will have a memorial candle for her and some other people who have passed in our lives and they will be mentioned during our mass and in our program but I don't think we will do anything else honoring or gifting parents during the ceremony. I know we are planning on purchasing gifts for our parents (my mom and dad, FH father and grandmother) but I'm not sure when to give them out. I know many people do it at the rehearsal dinner but I think I'm leaning more towards the morning of the wedding so it's a little more intimate. Any thoughts? Is there a reason or etiquette for this?

I wanted to do something for my parents as well but I think I will probably do it the night before the wedding when everyone is relaxed waiting for the big day. This way its more intimate. I'll probably do jewelry for my mom to wear. My dad on the other hand is harder to fiqure out what to get him. He is a man that says he doesn't want anything nor does he need anything. So that will be a tough one.
