I AM CANCER-FREE!!! I got my biopsy results today and they are benign!!!! the doctor and i are talking about doing a lumptectomy anyway to clear everything out, but as long as it's not cancer, i am happy.

thanks to all of you for your FM's, your posts and your thoughts, prayers and good wishes!!! it has meant so much to me and kept me calm throughout a nerve-wracking weekend. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I don't usually post my personal issues on the site... but for those of you that are so inclined, I could really use some prayers right now.

A few weeks ago I found a lump in my breast. this week I had lots of tests done including a needle biopsy today. she has ruled out a cyst... and it could very well be cancer.... I have to wait until TUESDAY ( I never thought I wouldn't want a long weekend before!) for the results.

My mother had a very severe form of breast cancer so I am very nervous. I just can't believe it... My wedding is only 4 months away and I am only 29...

I am hoping for the best....
has anyone else around my age dealt with this?

Im so sorry... Many prayers your way.. I know of a few people who've found lumps, had biopsies and ended up being FINE. I also know people who caught it early enough and had chemo but are FINE NOW....

You are in my thoughts and prayers! I had a lump removed about a year ago..it was very nerve racking to wait for the results and then to have surgery but it all worked out ok and I am praying for the same for you!
