I wasn't sure if I should wear pantyhose with the gown. I am curious what other brides have been doing. In addition, did everyone have the BMs wearing the same hairstyle, as in all the BMs had updos or their hair down in the same style. Thank you guys in advance!!

I wore thigh highs... they were more comfy & easier to use the potty.

I let the girls do whatever they wanted, as long as it was not like mine!

I didn't wear hose - they annoy the crap out of me.
The girls wore their hair whichever way they wanted - I wanted them to be comfortable and to look like themselves...not like some cookie-cutter image of the one next to them.

i didn't wear any pantyhose. through experience, pantyhose and open toe shoes don't go well together. slides around too much. i wanted all my gals to look uniform. i like the clean cut look a lot. but one of the girls has a bad case of back acne and insisted on having her hair down rather than up. in the end, she regretted it. her hair became limp-looking and in her face a lot. it didn't make my pictures look any better either. she had some frustrated looks

Interesting! All 3 no-hosiery replies has made it easier for me to argue against it. Unfortunately, at the end of Nov., I'll prob. be freezing anyway, but I have open-toed shoes, too and would prefer not to have pantyhose...
Did the thigh highs stay on the thigh? That's my only fear about using them. I guess they were fine or you would've mentioned something about them sliding down...

I wanted to wear thigh highs but my shoes are open-toe and alas, I have learned from my LIW girls that open-toe shoes and stockings are a no-no.

I am wearing thigh highs b/c I hate stockings! I am not making my BM wear the same hair style b/c they are all so different that it wouldn't be fair! I am letting them do whatever they want w/ their hair the day of!

My long-line bra came with those little straps for stockings. I will either wear those or knee highs.
The one time I wore thigh highs, I was tugging them all day. It was a HUGE pain.
My girls are doing what they want with their hair. They all have such different lengths and hair types, I don't know how they would wear the same style.

I'm wearing thigh highs. My crazy bridesmaids wanted the same hairstyle. They considered teh same shoes, but that just didn't work out, one has opened toed & the other has closed.
