Hotel accomindations for guest... Should I...

Ok brides...
My FH and I are at a lost...

Our bridal party will be staying at the Holiday Inn which is literally right next door from Chateau Briand... we are reserving 5 rooms

We are also going to be reserving rooms for our guest... about 3 extra rooms

Here's my question - Who's suppose to pay for the rooms???
Are we suppose to cough up the cash for our bridal party AND our guest? Can't we just tell them the cost and they pay upon exiting?

Please help... I wanted to block the rooms before the end of the month...

you block the rooms at a discounted rate but the bp and guests are responsible for paying for their own rooms.

Yup!!! You don't have to pay for anyone's room other than your own!!! Just include the hotel info with your STD or invite so they have the info.

Wait a second.......are you requiring your BP to stay there???? If so, I think you should be paying. But what you can do is block off rooms for them to reserve themselves, and if they CHOOSE to stay there, then it's their financial obligation.

But I think if you're requiring them to stay there with you, you should be paying for it.

Ahhhh, I didn't think of that. I guess, yeah, if you're REQUIRING that they stay there then you should foot the bill...

ITA.... some of my BMs are arriving early morning, but I asked 2 of them to stay in my room with me the night before. FH will obviously stay in a separate room anyway.

I had a friend that required it and what we did was split the cost. She paid half, the bridal party paid half. That way its easier for everyone. but in our case we (the bridal party) suggested paying half when she offered to pay for it all.

ohhhh.. no i'm not requring guest to stay there..

well the only people required to stay there is the bridal party...

so since the bridal party is staying... should i pay for them?

the other guest wanted a hotel since they don't drive and don't live out on the island...

I'm a a CB bride as well and my bridal party is also staying at the Holiday Inn and I'm paying for the room. I was thinking of getting the suite so that I wouldn't have to pay for 2 rooms.
