Has anyone checked up on their hotel block? I just called the hotel, and after about 10 people had told me they booked already, the hotel only has 5 rooms booked in our block. Should I be worried?

maybe you should ask your friends if they booked using the block rate or they booked online and got a better rate or a package deal. I know my sister booked her room 9 months ago for my wedding, she booked online using the AAA rate and got a better rate than my block rate.
I was actually just on the phone with the hotel today. I have 5 rooms booked on fri and 6 on sat out of the 10 in the block and my invites have not gone out yet. I was told they will add more rooms to the block when 8 rooms are booked.
