For those girls who booked a hotel block, were all your rooms booked, or just some? Anyone currently in the middle of this, what's the booking looking like, just curious?

Al lmine filled up super fast!!! Some people had to book outside the block and others had to go to another hotel bc LQ was sold out entirely

I blocked 15 rooms since that's all we could do without having to guarantee any. I have 25 rooms total booked now. During the last week before the block expired, I kept calling the hotel and adding more rooms to the block. I got way more people staying over than we expected!
I also booked 3 extra rooms under my own name in case anyone needed it. I ended up using 2 of them bc our friends missed the deadline! The other one I'll cancel that day.

All of mine filled up right away we originally blocked 20 rooms and had to add an additional 20 rooms we currently have about 50 rooms booked. They wont even give us anymore at the discounted price
but all of FH's family are ooters

I don't have alot of out of town guests so we blocked 15 and there are about 6 rooms booked

We used La Quinta and it booked up in like the last week before the rooms became public. I spoke to Joanne and she added a couple rooms when our block filled out (as per my request) and we have all 17 or 18 rooms booked.

All of my initial blocked rooms were booked. Then I think I added an additional 10 and most of those were booked, but I don't think they all were.

omg we blocked 20.. before invites were sent out we already had 20! so we uped it to 30.. then more ppl booked we uped it to 35.. now its at 45! And like 37 rooms are blocked...
I'm freaking out bc this means more shuttle service

how many shuttles are you getting? our shuttle holds 27 ppl...and it takes 15 mins each way from the place to the hotel.. so I'm worried that adding in a 3rd trip would make everyone either really early or really late.. I dont know if we should look into getting a coach bus to hold more ppl..

We have about 9 rooms blocked right now. We held 20. We have a lot of OOTers so I think it might fill up.

we blocked 20 and had 12 rooms booked by the date. then they fluctuated, people canceld, then other people booked. i think we are at 14 now? i need one more person to book so i get moeny off my room! hahahaha hahahaha

I had to sign a contract with the hotel in order to block rooms. The contract states if I cancel at the 'last minute' which is actually 1 month before the wedding, I am still liable for paying for the room.

we booked a 55 passenger coach bus, because it was easier than having multiple shuttles and dealing wiht traffic. have you looked into that?

Honestly, we haven't figured this out yet, I haven't been able to decide whether or not we want one huge coach bus or a few smaller shuttles that would give people the ability to leave at different times... it's been a major headache
