Hotel Block Recommendations???

Our next step to tackle is a hotel block. It looks like we are going to needs about 26 rooms. Our venue is in St. James in Suffolk County and I was curious if anyone had hotel blocks in the area or recommendations. Thanks!

That is what I think would be closest. And its new so I'm sure its nice. Would you mind sharing your discounted rate and how many rooms you blocked?

I blocked out rooms the day before and day of I blocked out 15 rooms day of. My wedding day is a Saturday It's 119 for standard room 149 for the junior suite. I did 10 standard and 5 suites and then fh and my room is 249 for their bridal suite it is very nice :) we are working with Lauren carpanato she is so sweet :)

we have our hotel block at the hilton garden inn in stony brook. i went to see it in person - very new and clean!

Definitely check out the Holiday Inn Express in Stony Brook. My family stays there every time they come to visit me, and they love it there. Great breakfast every morning, pool, shuttle.

We agree, I asked my FH for you Percz, and he says the Holiday Inn Express would be perfect for you. He went to the University there and knows the area.

He called about 20 hotels for our wedding and we went with Holiday Inn Express in Stony Brook. FH said one of the reasons he didn't go with the Hilton is there is no pool. The others he called were too expensive, didn't include breakfast, didn't have a pool (he knows I like to swim and our reception ends at 6pm so our out of towners can hang out with us at the pool chatting and swimming or in the dining area chatting.

H.I. Express has a shuttle to and from the airport and LIRR, a pool and complimentary breakfast. They have out door seating for breakfast as well near a small waterfall with Koi.
