Hotel Block/Invite question

Hotel Block/Invite question

so i printed all my invites and they are ready to go... but i just realized... for the few OOT guests, how do i tell them about the hotel block?? I have the direction card but what else am i supposed to do???

you can make up a small card yourself and put it with the invite

I knew this is what I was gonna have to do lol What should it say?? I've never recieved and OOT invite before.

You can either put a separate card in the invite with all the information (my hotel supplied it) OR for the STD's with the direction cards I just put some notes on the direction cards about the hotel block (pricing, dates, and names) using a p-touch labeler.

See below for how I worded my Accommodations card. It's not exact because I don't have it with me, but I wrote it out from memory:

Accommodations

Hotel name
Hotel address
Hotel Phone number

For your comfort and convenience, a block of rooms have been reserved at the [hotel name]. Please mention the “X/Y Wedding” when booking to receive the discounted group rate of $X/night for either a king or double bedroom. This rate is only available until [date].

We suggest that you book your hotel room as soon as possible, as rooms are limited. If you are told that the rooms for our party are filled, please contact us as [phone number] so that we can make additional rooms available.

Complimentary shuttle to and from [reception hall] will be provided.

Write something like... For your convenience accomodations have been made at a special rate. Then give the hotel name and contact info and say something like..to ensure the reduced rate, please mention the Smith/Jones wedding.
