I booked 10 rooms at Danfords for the night of the wedding just in case people want to stay the night in Port Jefferson with us. I figured I would have transportation to the reception and then back to Danfords for the rest of the night.
I thought one hotel was enough but because it's a little pricey people tell me I should book two hotels so they have a choice...But does this mean I have to provide transportation to and from another hotel?! It seems crazy to me?
What are you girls doing and do you have any suggestions for me???
TIA!!

Re: HOTEL HELPPPP!!!
You don't even HAVE to block rooms at one hotel for them. People forget how expensive LI really is. Granted, the hotel should be giving you a discounted rate for rooms in the block, but it's still going to be pretty pricey simply because it's LI. If people don't want to stay where you've arranged accomodations, they can go elsewhere.

So you think it's okay to just have Danfords?

Re: HOTEL HELPPPP!!!
I have a block at Danfords and another at the Holiday Inn Express in Stonybrook...I figure I'll see who books where and wherever there are more OOT guests (that flew in, anyway) I will send a shuttle from there.
