Hotel rant

So I booked with this hotel for our wedding, and decided to call them to find out exactly how much the shuttle was to and from my RH.

they tell me this..

I'm sorry to tell you this, but the shuttles are booked for that night, but if they come available, I will let you know.

ARGH!!!!!!

Anyone know if CHCC has their own shuttle??? I emailed them but haven't heard back yet..

I'll just havve to ask my limo company for a shuttle, no biggie, but I was just so mad to hear that!

what about choosing another hotel? I looked into a few and Im not sure who Im going with yet, but they arent sooo far apart with pricing from what I've seen! check out all the hotels within a 10 mile radius!

the Hilton! and they were available!! There are only 2, and I understand my wedding falls on a holiday weekend so I'm sure they booked quick, I shoulda jumped on that sooner!! It's my own fault :(

I just have to call my limo company in hopes that they are available to help out!

which hilton did you book? unfortunately CHCC doesnt have a shuttle but would you consider changing hotels?

My hotel doesn't even do a shuttle, but they did provide me with a list of local transportation vendors that would be affordable....Island Transportation was one of them, and I believe they have a 16 passenger shuttle...how many guests are you looking to transport?

My Hotel is the fox hollow. i am not doing a shuttle cause they are like $400

can i ask you what fox hollow inbn is charging you for a per room price? I'm the weekend before you and im getting married at the fox hollow and they still quoted me an insane price saying october is just notoriously expensive. just wanna check if maybe this guy was just trying to rip me off lol you can send me FM if you'd rather not post the cost

Fox Hollow i believe is $179 (discount if you block ten or more rooms). With taxes and all its below $190. However Fox Hollow inn's rooms are beautiful and its comfortable. They also add complimentary breakfast buffet the next morning for anyone that stays a night, so it is part of the price. I think its worth it but its all up to you in the end.

- also which i am pretty sure you know, if you marry at Fox Hollow, you get a complimentary royal suite for you and the hubs.

had the shuttles not been all booked up, would they have been complimentary? my wedding's at the riviera, and i'm booked with the hilton, but the shuttles would have been $400 each (we're going to book buses instead, though).

I am still looking into this.... I just called the Huntington Hilton (you made me nervous!) and she told me the shuttle was $375 but it only goes 2x to CHCC and 2x back to hotel at end of the night... and it sits 15 ppl.... I told her that was ridiculous if I had AT LEAST 20 rooms filled... that would NOT accomodate all my guests who are staying at the hotel.... the girl I spoke to was filling in for the person who actually books this, so she said the actual person who was in charge of bookings would call me back tomorrow so we could possibly work something out.
That is CRAZYYYY if they wont go back and forth at my guests leisure if I am paying for it, right??????
I love this hotel, but now that I'm hearing all this I am getting a little worried.
I also told her that I DEFINITELY would want the shuttles if I booked and not to offer them to anyone else on my date, and she laughed and assured me that I have plenty of time.... to which I told her that I was aware they had just done this to someone (.... she had nothing to say after that)
