The Hyatt Windwatch in Hauppauge is really nice.

What about some of the hotels closer to the airport? Holiday Inn, Hilton, Marriot. I've heard they're nice. There's so many of them in that area and .its not far from Oakdale.

Closer to the airport would be your best bets... unless you want a small inn-type place..

We're booking with the Holiday Inn by MacArthur airport. They were decent with their prices. The deal breaker for us was their great bar to go to hang out after the reception - AND Applebee's across the street!
