Hey.. does anyone have a suggestion on hotels close to Jericho Terrace (Mineola) besides the Viana where I can block a bunch of rooms?
Tip: My parents were with FH and I when we went to look at the Viana. I did the max guarantee without obligation. My father was in the Air Force and is a volunteer firefighter. He asked about discounts and they gave me the bridal suite for the same rate as standard rooms. If anyone in your family or FHs fam is a gov't employee, volunteer firefighter, or is/was in the military I suggest asking about discounts/extras you can get!

this is good information. jh also suggested us to book through viana.. my wedding is on feb 23/13.. how much are the rooms per night if you book a block of rooms? do you know if they provide shuttle service to the reception?

Hilton Garden Inn, Westbury. Great reviews and two minutes from Roosevelt Field and plenty of restaurants.
