we get a suite at the mariott to us comped if the 60 rooms are reserved - anyway i would not pay for such a good room i don't think it is necessaryWe are not leaving for our honeymoon till like wendesday so i might spluge for a nice room in the city on sunday and monday - or at oheka if i want to stay closer to home - then i feel like it will be worth it - we will spend more time there

we are spedning a lot on the honeymoon so we are letting our parents have the honeymoon suite and we are taking a regular room. why waste the money on a few hours

this may sway votes a bit...we are not having a honeymoon because of money. Well, actually we are having a honeymoon...like a year later. So this is it. FH is concerned about the money...so am I. Hopefully we will get most of it back...I just feel like we are doing without a lot already...but I wish we got 1 more night w/ it or something. I mean if checkout is at like 12pm or something, then is it really worth it?
That settles it. Go for the bigger room.
We had a choice between the jr and deluxe bridal suite- we chose the jr because we are leaving for our honeymoon the next day..

I would check out the jr suites and ask for an extended check out...most hotels would do this as a courtesy especially for the wedding night.

If you aren't going on a honeymoon the next day I say go for the suite..if you are go for the regular room...its a room either way and there are only a few things you might be doing and honestly sleeping is the most likely one lol

We stayed in a regular room on our wedding night, not at East Wind. We were so tired when we got there that we didn't even notice the room, the view or anything. I'm glad we didn't get anything extravagant. It would have been a waste of money for us.

If you are not doing the honey moon go with the big room... otherwise I would say go with the regualar room save for the HM.. But In your case... go for the big room. It will special.

Will you be waking up and enjoying the room for a few hours? The night will be shot - but the AM is another story. Can they give you a late check out?

Well, I am not sure about what the OOT guests are doing yet...I am actually going to give them options because East Wind is expensive (sorry about the abreviation before). However I know most of my in-town guests are staying at the inn too along w/ us. We are providing my parents w/ a night stay as a gift...I really don't want my parents driving all the way home after the wedding...I am sure they will be exhausted. I know my cousins and uncle are staying there, as well as at least 2 of my BM's and their husband/significant other. The traditional room is just a regular hotel bed and bathroom. The Ambassador Suite has a king sized bed, jacuzzi, sitting area, and is kind of away from the other rooms. They do have suites that are kind of in the middle, junior suites, but I have never seen them and don't know what they include yet...I have to call.
Im going for the ambassador suite...fh really wanted it!!
If you dont mind me asking you what prices are they quoting you for the rooms??
I am very, VERY happy that a lot of people are staying at the Inn. It will assure that those who are drinking will have a place to sleep w/ out traveling. And, I think it's a cool extension of the night, you know? I just don't want to be right next door on my wedding night, ya know what I mean? I'll see if I can get good pictures of both rooms and download them.

is EW---East Wind?
The rooms there are gorgeous!! If you are tight on money, just go with the regular room...like you said, you qre not going to be there a long time to enjoy it as it is....
Really, the rooms are all beautiful, so if u do go with the suite, more power to ya!![]()
The reg rooms at East Wind are GORGEOUS! You wouldn't regret not having a suite- FH and I stayed in both- every room is beautiful and
HUGE!
