How much in advance should I block off rooms? We don't have a TON of OOT guests....but enough that we'll need to get a bout 10 rooms...?
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Re: hotel rooms
I already booked 25 rooms and we don't have to put any money down. they just release the rooms that aren't booked one month before the wedding

Re: hotel rooms
I am having issues booking a hotel as well. I am planning on getting married at the Hilton Hawaiian Village they will not answer questions about pricing until a year before the wedding....

FH and I tired to book them but they wouldn't let us because it's more then a year in advance.. Has anyone heard that before?
Where are you booking ? I am getting married 3/1 and I am using the Sheriton and they allowed us to block and book rooms.

Re: hotel rooms
I haven't blocked but only because we calculated how many people need rooms and we'll need maybe 5, if that. I spoke to the hotel I'm interested in and they didn't seem to think it was necessary yet.

Re: hotel rooms
Only some hotels require you to put money/cc down. Most of my family is coming from NJ...but I'm not sure if I'll be couting them as OOT. I may just book a couple extra rooms for them in case my cousins all decide to have a massive sleepover
