just got a quote from a hotel and want to see how it compares since it's my 1st time looking into it.
it's for 33 people, 1 trip to Flowerfield and 1 trip back to hotel for $500 (it might've been $525 or $550 the most).
the hotel is 20 minutes from Flowerfield is that makes a difference.

I think that's really good - we are paying around $800 for a similar service (but we get an unlimited # of shuttles)

I think a good thing to do is poll ur guests. a lot of OTT people rent cars, so you might not need the shuttle. A friend had it for her wedding and only 2 people used it out of 50 people staying at the hotel, so it definitely wasnt worth the extra money.

Mine is $425 for as many round trips as it can make for 2 hours before and 2 hours after.

I got a quote from Camelot... we are waiting to see how many guests will be staying before i book.
I booked the islandia marriott..... was the 2nd closest to FF and was nicer then the other and actually a cheaper room block

my shuttle is free through the hotel...
alyssa, i know my friend who got married at flowerfield, had a hotel block at hampton inn in islandia and the shuttle was free.

from what i was told, there are no more free shuttles. the Marriot also had one but no more.
i am actually looking at the Sheraton on Motor Pkwy and the quote was from who the hotel is using.

Try the Holiday inn express in stonybrook I know they offer free shuttles.

The woman at the holiday inn express in stony brook is really nice! But the best rate she could give is $159!
You can try and work on that number with her though!
