Any preferences? What are the prime locations, besides the obvious Times Square?
TIA!!

yea!! meatpacking district!!! it's a very popular area for the trendy restaurants/bars/clubs/shops in the city. it's sort of the center of the universe on the weekends for going out and partying.

Re: Hotels in NYC?
I have been dying to stay at 'The Standard' hotel. Its near little west 12th St. A couple of good lounges nearby and they have a beer garden in the hotel.
Also I have stayed at dream hotel. Pretty Cool there. The rooms are all white and the floor lights up blue like your in the clouds. Its in the midtown area. They have a lounge upstairs there.
It's small, but the comfort inn has very clean, basic rooms (Comfort Inn-Chelsea)

Re: Hotels in NYC?
We stayed at the ganservoort on park avenue in the 20 s in Marc and it was amazing. It was for my 30 th birthday. The room was gorgeous and there is a rooftop pool and great night scene a the rooftop bar. Blue smoke and dos caminos are walking distance.
