Began the process of finding a hotel for OOT guests and wondered if anyone has had any experience with any of the hotels (positive or negative) in the garden city or Westbury area? We are looking for somewhere that will be ideally at or under $150/night, so a lot of the fancier boutique type hotels are out (i.e. - Garden City Hotel).. Thanks.

We blocked rooms at La Quinta in Garden City. Our room block rate is $159/night.

we used hilton garden inn in westbury and even had an after party in one of their rooms they were amazing!!!! and soooooo accomidating they took care of my bags for guests and anything we needed !!!!! a+++++++++

blocked at la quinta too! having a day wedding so we are continuing a little after party at their bar/lobby area for anyone whos staying there- very nice, big, plenty of seating, and i can have more food delivered there no prob. plus they offer shuttles to anyone who stays there to and from your RH

hampton inn in garden city gave us a good rate for the hotel block. 129/per night. it's right between roosevelt field and the Source mall. HTH

The shuttle only fits 14 people and they only do one trip. I am having a lot of OOT so this is the reason I did not book them. However, if you don't need the shuttle or have that many people for it then they're great.
I booked Hilton Garden Inn. The rate was $169 per night, but I am getting married Memorial Day weekend. They do, however, outsource their shuttle service so they book transportation for the exact number of people in your hotel block.

There is a new Hampton Inn in Westbury on Jericho Turnpike. I did my block there
