do any of you know hotels on long island (can either be nassau or suffolk) that have suites big enough to sleep 8 people (it doesn't have to be beds, just enough room for sleeping bags)
my MOH is trying to plan my jr. bachelorette party - i have quite a few girls under the age of 21 in my bridal party and she wants to include them in the festivities. she wants to have an 80's themed slumber party, but is looking for a hotel where we can all stay in one room.
any ideas where? thanks!

The Four Points Sheraton in Plainview has suites. They're about the size of two standard rooms put together. I'm not sure the maximum guest limit for them though.

Just a note, many hotels with tell you that the max that the suite could hold is 5 or even 4 but obviously they have the room to put the sleeping bags on the floor and stuff.
When my friend was looking for a hotel in LI for the same exact thing you were looking for, they all said that. Well, we ended up staying in the city at the W hotel and we had a huge suite and she still had to say there would only be 5 guests sleeping there because there was 2 bedrooms and a sofa in the LR so thats how they count it.
