I love Houstons Spinach Dip, I don't have the recipe though, but would love to have it. My Fh and I went there for one of our first date's and we had it.

i remember that post - i've been wanting to make it ever since but havent. wonder if it's too much/hard to make for thanksgiving... FH's fam doesn't have nearly as much food as mine does

i've made the other kind - the Knorrs recipe in a bread bowl which is delish but nothing beats Houston's.

OMG i want to make it tonight!! maybe i will and let you know how it comes out

my issue is the blender. i only have a mini-prep. so i have to do everything in sections and it's really annoying and takes forever.

well when we were registering i got so many cooking things and FH said oh you're gonna cook alot? lol and then after i saw a pizza oven and wanted that too and he was like WOW youre even gonna make pizza? sarcastically of course

I have cooked for him and know how to and know how to cook for many years, infact he always tells ppl his favorite meal is this one thing i make for him bc he likes it alot. I just don't do it alot but its also bc after work by the time we meet up its like 7:30-8pm were both hungry by then so we'll order bc its quicker and its his fault bc he'll always call and ask me to order from this spanish restaurant by me, and i told him this on saturday, i said i thought he prefers that since its what he always requests but he said i know how to cook spanish food so i can make it for him too, im not psychic W** lol

so yeah i'll make a nice home cooked meal on wednesday since i also get out of work early

i dont drink wine, and fh prefers white which i do have at home already so thats good i wont have to go to the liquor store...plus he loves scotch and i have that at home too.

Thank you...i think with cooking its just about doing it enough...i used to cook for myself when i was a teenager bc id get home and my parents worked and sometimes i couldn't wait...my problem is that im so used to cooking for myself or just 1 or 2 other people that i have to get used to making food for alot of people

You will get use to it, practice makes perfect. I cook a lot now for me and Fh since we are living together and it was def rough at first, but now I can just whip things together. I am still no pro but, I am proud of myself, lol

oh for me and fh to cook i am more than fine with...i can cook and very comfortable with...to make meals for like 10+ people is what i have to get used to doing. Ive been cooking for quite a few years now but i was selfish bc i always cooked for myself lol.

I think it's so much easier to cook for 1-2 people instead of a family. My best friend swears every recipe is made for a family. I don't know what the heck books she's looking in lol
