Was reading the post on how much your wedding is costing and was wondering how people are paying for the wedding. Are you using credit cards, taking out a loan, parents, pay as you go, etc. Me and FH are paying as we go, we want to pay for the wedding outright so no bill after we come back from our HM

my parents are paying for our wedding......thank God for them or there would not be having a wedding for a while. FH and I offered to pay for the DJ and any little extras.

I've thanked our parents a million times my parents 50% Anthony's parents 45%
Me and Anthony are paying for the small things such as favors, invitations, and extras
We are also paying for our wedding bands and honeymoon

we have both been putting money away each month, using all our tax returns, gifts and bonus money to pay for this wedding. Pretty soon I am going to donate some of my eggs to pay for this wedding!!!!!! Just joking

FH and I each put away a certain amount per month (which is really straining on the social life right now, but it will be worth it in the end) so this way we don't have big bills to start paying once the wedding is over. We are paying for about 95% of the wedding to begin with and we both still have student loans over our heads, and after the wedding we want to start saving for a house! Taking out a loan was never even an option for us. lol

We are responsible for our photography/videography, DJ, invites, rings and honeymoon.
We have been saving up money (try to do weekly) but more like when we can. We are also thinking about charging our honeymoon this way we wont have to stress about it beforehand.

we are paying the hall ourselves, but things like photography, video, dj, etc, my parents are paying.

well my dad offered to pay for the hall, DJ, my makeup/hair, and my dress with accessories. We are paying for everything else

So far it's been cash for everything and we hope to continue to use cash throughout except for the HM. We'll use a credit card for the HM.

I am actually very fortunate.. we are paying for some stuff in cash ( band, invites, and most likey limos) .. but my dad is paying for the hall and his parent are paying for flowers and photo/video. so we are geting tons of help and I could not ask for more!

FH and I are living on one salary and saving the other, will have no wedding debt
We are doing the same, I used to put 50% of my salary in the 'wedding fund' but as of my last paycheck it's all going towards the wedding.

We're all contributing. FILS are paying for FH's guests, I'm covering my guests and my parents are paying for the vendors and my dress and FH is contributing as well.

my parents are paying for my dress, veil etc, my invitations, my favors and all the day of stuff like hair, makeup etc. *my mom is being SUPER generous but it is also because she knows if i had to pay for them i would get super cheap stuff, lol
FH and I are paying for the rest. . . I put a huge chunk into my ING account each month (THANK GOD FOR ING - greatest account ever i HIGHLY recommend it, it is so much better than a regular bank account) and FH pays for stuff as it comes up like deposits and stuff like that
so far it looks like we will have no debt and we can use wedding gifts to save for a house!!
