How bad is it if we dont get a cake...

I know most places give one.... but I happened to find a place I like that doesn't and the FH is giving me grief.

Hmmm this is tricky. But I'll give you an easy solution. People wont necessarily question you if your cake is not displayed, but people WILL be wondering where dessert is when dinner is over. An easy and affordable option is to buy 2 or 3 sheet cakes from Costco. They are very cheap, and OH SO YUMMY!!! It should run you less than $50. And last time I was there they had a nice white basket weave design, check it out!!

Oh no - I meant that the cake isn't included with the price per head - We will have a cake - but my FH 's arguement is that I'm crazy to consider paying 95 a head and you don't even get a cake...

Oh, I get it. I think it's odd that a cake isn't offered to you. For $95, they should give you a cake.

If it makes you feel better, I'm paying $150+ and I don't get a cake either They offered one to us for $3.50 a slice, but I think I'm going to shop around a bit.

hmmm...i always assumed that most, if not all places gave you the cake. i think you should try to negotiate. i don't know if that $95 includes tax and everything but then you have to add on extra $$$ for cake pp
i would say something, it should be included for that amount of money.

i think you would definately miss the wedding cake but it is up to you. IMO you should go with an outside bakery. good luck

If this place was $105 per person and included the cake would you still love it?

If so then go with it and find a baker that can do a cake for about $5 per slice plus cutting fees the caterer may charge.
