I'm just curious..

I have about 143 ppl including us and that also includes 10 children (all family members).

We originally guaranteed 120 ppl and I thought it was going to be hard to achieve that so we invited a lot of the B-listers..Now I have 143 ppl which is fine but I wish it was smaller...I wish we hadn't cared about meeting our minimum so much.. oh well, too late now.

I love all of ur problems. I am having the opposite.

we have a similar isseu. we wanted 150, but the RH made us guarantee 175 for a saturday niight. since budget is so tight, we only invited like 225

so when we started getting cancellations (mostly OOTers and older people that have been sick), it hurt us with the numbers...

i hate the RSVP PROCESS!

We're having one reception at the Swan Club, which will be about 170 people or so.

we guaranteed 200... and i was thinking that was our count until FI & i talked:

i wanted: 200
he wanted: 400 (!?!?)

so we settled on 300

funny thing is, when we told this to the RH manager - he said 'oh, it's a small wedding' and he wasn't joking!!! 300 is small?!? gaahhhh

Believe it or not - we couldnt cut out list any more than 214. But - we also know of 25 people that won't be able to come, but had to be invited, and those people haven't responded yet. So - we'll see where we end up!

We will end up at about 175, which is our minimum.

we DID expect no's due to people being overseas and out of state.
