How crazy would I be if I didn't find a flower girl by the wedding?

Here is the scenario: FH has a stepniece that we were contemplating to include in the Bparty. He decided he does NOT want her in it for various reasons. (DRAMA related) She's only 6 but the reasons deal with her mother (FH's sis inlaw). My girlfriend got married last year and she didn't have one, and the ceremony went just as smooth as any other. What do you guys think. Oh, I already have my ringbearer BTW.

I dont have a flower girl or a ring bearer....but I wnet a to a wedidng a few years ago where they had two ring bearers..no flower girl..what the two boys actually carried I cant remember..but they wlaked uo together only one had the ring. You can do whatever you want..its YOUR wedding!!!!

I don't have a flower girl-and I'm okay with that. Besides, some of the recent weddings I went to there were HUGE problems with the little girls: crying screaming, etc.

Thanks guys, I must remember it is my wedding. I think I'll do just fine with the ringbearer

I also have a ringbear who is 8 and I have a junior bridesmaid who is 10, but no flower girl either

we're not having either a ringbearer or a flowergirl and we havent' thought twice about it!!!

To be honest, it is very rare that you will see a wedding with a flower girl and ring boy to match. You can definitly just have the ring boy... especially if you know you can avoid problems later on by doing it this way.

We didn't have any flower girls or ring bearers. I think they're only part of the ceremony if you know children that you would like to include. Having just a ring bearer is alright - he does not need a matching flower girl. When my father got married over 20 years ago, my sister and I were flower girls and my brother was the sole ring bearer. If the number of BMs and GMs can be uneven, certainly the number of flower girls and ring bearers can also.

you dont have to have a flower girl, my sister had neither and her wedding was fine, and im only having a flower girl(no ring bearer)

LOL borrow my daughter.. reminds me of that guy over at the Commack Wedding Center. He rents his grandchildren (girl or boy) out for $100!!!!

Seriously.. like some of the others in here... I wont have a ring bearer or flower girl.

It wouldn't be crazy at all...you don't HAVE to have a flowergirl...

We don't have a ringbearer or a flower girl either. I think the great thing about weddings is that the bride and groom can create it any way they want.

We're not having either. I think it's only something to do if you have kids you'd like to include.

you certainly do not need a flower girl. we have 3 because we have 2 nieces & a goddaughter. however, it was only because we really wanted to include them- i see no need for a flowergirl. our fgs aren't even throwing petals (they aren't actually 'doing' anything).

we don't have a ringbearer (no little boys in our family).
