How crazy would I be if I didn't find a flower girl by the wedding?

Here is the scenario: FH has a stepniece that we were contemplating to include in the Bparty. He decided he does NOT want her in it for various reasons. (DRAMA related) She's only 6 but the reasons deal with her mother (FH's sis inlaw). My girlfriend got married last year and she didn't have one, and the ceremony went just as smooth as any other. What do you guys think. Oh, I already have my ringbearer BTW.

I totally agree, there is no law that you MUST have a flowergirl. My mother did not have one either, the reason being that she had too many nieces and did'nt want to hurt feelings!! Do as you wish at your wedding!!

I don't have a flower girl or ing bearer. None of my friend's kids are old enough.
I'm disappointed but I don't think it's a big deal

I don't think a wedding *needs* a flower girl.

If you just have a ring bearer, that's fine.

You don't need to follow a 'if you have a ringbearer you need a flower girl' thing. Do what you feel is best.

I'm sure everything will be great whatever you decide

I have no kids in the wedding... FG or RB, but I think it is OK to have just a ringbearer. Besides, less kids to try to get to walk down the aisle, sit till in pics, etc.

I am having a FG, no ring bearer, and my brother had no FG and 3 ring bearers.

I don't have a FG either. We're having my Godson, and my nephew walk down together. Godson = ring bearer and my nephew is going to carry the unity candle down.
