We met at Macaroni Grill - he was a server/trainer and they asked him to work with me when I started there.

he responded to the ad i posted and from our very first IM conversation (which lasted 3 hours, break for dinner, then another 3 hours!) i knew he was something special. we spoke online and eventually on the phone for 5 weeks (w/o missing 1 day!) and finally met in person. that was definitely weird ... but i guess you can all figure out that it worked out in the end

oh yeah, and it turned out he went to college with my best friend and they have many mutual friends!

I met FH online while I was stuck at home after being hit by a car. I was in a cast & on crutches & would sit in front of my computer for hours bored & looking for people to talk to....lol

David and I met for the 1st time at the bar where I work. He was there to see a co-worker of mine who he had been friends with for awhile. I was dating someone and really payed no attention to him. Well, several months later we met again at the bar( we were both there for my co-workers B-day party ) the only seat open was the one next to me. We started talking and finally realized that we had met before. I was no longer dating anyone and hoped that he would ask me out and he did!!!

We when i was 14 and he was 16. We actually dated in 10th grade and he dumped me lol..but i had a crush on him ever since. He moved to out of state after graduation and we lost touch. 2 yrs ago we meet up in NYC and have been together after since :)

1st grade - briefly

We met again in high school and realized that we lived 2 blocks away from each other in the 1st grade.

We started going out the week after we graduated from high school and have been going strong ever since. (8 years)

My friend was dating his best friend since Kindergarden for four years. They thought we should meet and we all met as a group and I thought he was arrogant. I cancelled our first date, rescheduled, tried to cancel the second. I told him I had inventory at work and was going to be there late and he was like 'you have to eat sometime'. Went for dinner at like 10 pm. Totally fell for him after that!

We first met on AOL, we talked for about 2 years. Then when he was on his way moving down to Florida, he stopped by my house, and that's how we first met.

He was gorgeous. He looks like a short Anthony Edwards of ER., then after that we both went up and down visiting one another.

I will be moving in with him in mid January in Florida, but the wedding is up here.
