How did everyone meet their FH?

I met mine online at americansingles.com...i thought he was going to be a jerk when i first saw his picture and stuff but then i met him and now i don't know what life was like without him

I actually signed up there not expecting much, but I met a few really nice guys, that I'm actually still in touch with. It's a good site, definitely worth looking into.

I know that a few places do background checks..but that's illegal! she should report those men!

I sympathize with her. It can be very frustrating and especially in her situation with those men, irritating as well. But tell her not to give up, I met my hunny online and look how well it has turned out!

I had met him in a party 8 months before our official date and ignored him and then I was set up on a blind date him and I didn't even remember him he had to refresh my memory

We became friends first (he wasn't my 'type')and then I realized that had a good thing right in front of my face!

met him at what used to be Flannigan's in Babylon (now it's Fire I think). was visiting famly from out of town, when i was living in south carolina, and he worked with my brother at macy*s. brother told him to come out that nite, we met, and the rest is history.

My FH lives 2 houses away from me. He lived there for 4 years until I met him at our neighbors wedding. I remeber seeing him and I knew that he was my neightbor even though I never officially met him.

He saw me and my sisters and only recognized one of us. He asked his sister 'who are these chicks?'. She had to let him know that we lived right down the street from him.
