My FH lives 2 houses away from me. He lived there for 4 years until I met him at our neighbors wedding. I remeber seeing him and I knew that he was my neightbor even though I never officially met him.

He saw me and my sisters and only recognized one of us. He asked his sister 'who are these chicks?'. She had to let him know that we lived right down the street from him.

Aww, Jas & I actually met several times before I moved in, and on move in day he was the cutest he came over and offered to help me w/ everything, it turns out he had a crush on me sice we first met 7 ears ago, I was 16 he was 18 at times I wish he would have acted sooner... but we're together now & we're getting married !!!!!!!! just like you & your beau

I know aren't those sights soposed to do background checks or something? My friend is single and not meeting Mr. Right in her day to day activities so she went online,

both dates these Jerk's wore their wedding bands and were really gross about it, they have open marriages b/c that's the only way their marriage can work, it was tramatising for my friend... No where in their profiles did they say they were married... It must be really hard on her w/ us all getting married(the rest of our friends are married) and she's the only singelton

We both had summer shares on Fire Island for many years, in different houses though. We were kind of acquaintances. I once even set him up with a friend and they went on one date and then we both lost contact with her.

After knowing him for several years, we finally kept in touch one winter. I was really stressed at work and said I needed a vacation. So, he invited me to a ski weekend with his work friends. I remember not being sure if I wanted to go! Our first real date was that weekend and we've been together ever since.

He and I first met when I moved to Massapequa in 6th grade. I became friendly with him and his group of friends.
At some point in the year Michael found out that he was moving to Florida. All of our friends were really upset. One night, before he moved, we had planned to get together for a game of Man Hunt at my house. That was the cool thing to do back then hehe. My girls and I were playing outside when my mom called me inside because I had a phone call. It was Mike and he had great news - he was NO LONGER moving to Florida. Afterwards, I remember running through the streets yelling MIKES NOT MOVING. I couldn't have been happier. Little did I know that he would be the person I would spend the rest of my life with. By the time 6th grade ended we were really close and over the years everything started to unfold. He had the biggest crush on me forever (all through Junior high and high school but I didnt give it a chance until 11th grade.) I have many notes begging him for me to go out with him and saying the cheesiest things like, 'you make me feel like i have a million dollars' that was in 8th grade tho haha! I told him Im going to read one at the reception - is that cruel? lol

no way is that cruel, that's such a cute story!!!

We met in the 7th grade - went to the same Middle School! I decided that I liked him that week - I was a little boy crazy - so I had my friend go up to him and tell him! We talked briefly, but he was not into girls yet!

We started to date in the 11th grade but that only lasted a month... From then on (1994) we dated on and off throughout high school and college, until I got engaged to someone else.... Lived with that guy for about a year in Baltimore when FH FINALLY realized he couldn't be without me and I left Baltimore to be with my soul mate!!!!

After alllll of that, how could he not be right??

We met in 2001 - i was with my friends - and he was with his - driving around.. we pulled over, started talking and exchanged numbers ... and here we are 4.5 yrs later!!

that is a great story.....but I'm sure in his eyes it'll be cruel - he'll be so embarassed in front of his friends!

Maybe you can bring them with you and read them together after the reception at your hotel -- that would be sweet!

We met in college. He helped me out with some homework hehe
