I met mine online at americansingles.com...i thought he was going to be a jerk when i first saw his picture and stuff but then i met him and now i don't know what life was like without him

We met in HS and actually my grandparents and his grandparents used to hang out all of the time.They used to double date(how cute).

We have known each other since the 8th grade. Our last names are so similar that the teachers always sat us next to each other due to alphabetical order. How's that for H.S. sweethearts!?!

He and I first met when I moved to Massapequa in 6th grade. I became friendly with him and his group of friends.
At some point in the year Michael found out that he was moving to Florida. All of our friends were really upset. One night, before he moved, we had planned to get together for a game of Man Hunt at my house. That was the cool thing to do back then hehe. My girls and I were playing outside when my mom called me inside because I had a phone call. It was Mike and he had great news - he was NO LONGER moving to Florida. Afterwards, I remember running through the streets yelling MIKES NOT MOVING. I couldn't have been happier. Little did I know that he would be the person I would spend the rest of my life with. By the time 6th grade ended we were really close and over the years everything started to unfold. He had the biggest crush on me forever (all through Junior high and high school but I didnt give it a chance until 11th grade.) I have many notes begging him for me to go out with him and saying the cheesiest things like, 'you make me feel like i have a million dollars' that was in 8th grade tho haha! I told him Im going to read one at the reception - is that cruel? lol

omg!! that is the sweetest thing ever!!

but i do think reading one of his love notes @ the reception is cruel. he was young - and they were meant for you. my FH would have a heart attack!!

we went to the same HS and same college...and now three years after college...we are still together!!

I met my FH at Flanagans too..... he was friends with a girl I knew in Highschool.

bumping up cause I thought this was a cute thread...

We met at the public library which is where we worked together back when we were just 16 and 17 years old! Time has flown by and a lot has happened between us (broke up...got back together) but now we're together for the long run and coincidently we are working together yet again...at a different job of course!

I met my FH through friends. My best friend was dating one of his friends and we were all going to see the Matrix 3 one night.. and they immediately tried to play matchmaker... well they made the ultimate match!!!

Well my FH moved into the neighborhood, like two blocks away from me, and started hanging out with some of my guy friends. I had a huge crush on him from the beginning ( we were only 14). . . so one day I got up the nerve to tell his friends that I liked him ( on line of course! ha ha) even though I knew he was at their house. . . they gave him my number and our first date was January 02,1998 - but didn't officially become bf/gf until January 16, 1998! We only broke up once for a month and we were both miserable - so we have been together for 8 years already AND we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary on our Honeymoon!
