How did FH propose?

Just wanted to hear about all of your wonderful suprises.

Here's my story:

FH & I went to Disney this past July. In the back of my mind, I was wondering if there was a possibility he might propose on this trip.
I figured that if he was going to, he would probably do it on the last day of our vacation (go out with a bang).

Well, on our FIRST day there----that night we went to watch the Electric Light Parade and then the fireworks. After the fireworks, he told me had brought pennies for us so that we could make wishes at Cinderella's fountain. So he lead me there, and we made our wishes. He then told me he had wished that I would be his forever. He told me how much he loved me and how much I meant to him. And then he got down on his knee, presented the ring and asked me to marry him.
It was so sweet and magical!

FH bought a build-a-bear (I wish my friend videotaped him buy it because they make you hug it when you buy one and he was totally embarassed but still did it ) and had it dressed up as a bride (blue garter included)

he recorded the proposal and they put the box with the recording within the bear's hand. He was going to propose the day my dad and sister came up to take us out to dinner for my birthday but before they showed up. But I was late getting up and then was putting my cable modem together so he just decided to wait and do it at the restaurant.

I didn't even realize when he gave me the bear it was a proposal. I finally pressed the hand and heard it and was like 'huh?' and turned to him (mind you no one knew he was going to propose!) and he had the ring in his hands.

The restaurant diners were all clapping and we called his dad back home in Ireland and woke him up and told him. It was all good : -)

ETA: although we talked about rings ONCE I was completly clueless. He didn't ask my dad's permission (thought that that is so old fashioned but I wish he did although I know dad would have said yes anyway to him) so we were ALL clueless!

All of these stories are so great!!

My FH and I bought a house together and had been living together for over 3 years. We talked about marriage a lot and I was very ready to be proposed to. We had planned to go to Paris one summer, but the trip never happened. The next summer, we went to Bermuda. I was really hoping he would finally propose there! (If he didn't, he might of had to swim home! ) But although I was suspicious, he never slipped at all about the ring or anything, so I wasn't 100% sure. (He's usually very bad about keeping secrets.)

The night before his b-day (while we were in Bermuda) he told me he wanted to watch the sunrise on the beach for his b-day. My FH is NOT a morning person, so the little red flag went up. I could barely sleep that night (he kept waking me up by hugging me!) and neither could he.

The alarm goes off at 6:00am - he pops out of bed, and I am super tired and...cranky! Finally he gets me up and we go to see the sunrise behind the hotel - but you couldn't see it! He was so mad (apparently he asked the hotel staff where the best spot was the night before). We had to hop on our rented scooter and drive to another beach. When we got there we could just about make out the sun. It was beautiful. I took so many pictures of it, as he was trying to get me to sit down.

I finally sat down, and he started saying all of these sweet things, I was actually surprised, b/c I was still half asleep I thought he would wait, but he didn't mind at all. He said that the best birthday present I could give him was to be his wife. Awwww! He got down on one knee and presented me with my great grandmother's engagement ring. I said yes, of course! (The question seemed almost silly - OF COURSE I would marry him!) I was beaming for the rest of the trip and weeks afterward. Here's a picture of the sunrise.
