We were staying at the Wynn for his birthday & the first morning there, he opened the shades, giving us a gorgeous view of the entire LV strip, as he came back to the bed he nonchalantly proposed & we snuggled for a few bc then I had family & friends to call He only let me do 2-3 calls then we just walked around like doofuses all day

He took me to our favorite restaurant at South Street Seaport then we went to Central Park. We hopped on a horse and buggy and he proposed while we were riding through the park! Perfect!

We were having a fun day in the city celebrating our 8 year anniversary, we were walking around Central Park taking pics and we went to the very top of Belvedere Castle and I started getting a little woozy (I'm a little afraid of heights). So I said lets go down one level and he was hesitant. Luckily no one was there. He started telling me how much he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me. At the time he was stammering a little because he was nervous and I was like 'ok I get it, I love you too'.... He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, I said yes and screamed I'm getting married and everyone in the castle started clapping. IT was AWESOME!!

We were in Aruba (for the 2nd time) in September. Back in August, he took me to the mall a few times to start looking at rings, so of COURSE I thought it was gonna happen in Aruba. I tried not to get my hopes up too high, tho. Anyway... so we're in Aruba and he made a big deal about choosing what nights we went to what restaurants, but I didn't think anything of it. We went shopping downtown one day and went into all the jewelry stores and were looking at rings and the more we looked at, FH kept acting more and more like he wasn't interested. I was starting to get very upset and annoyed. We took a cab back to our hotel and in the cab, I actually started to cry. We get back to our room and I just couldn't calm down. I said to FH, 'Why are you taking me to look for rings now if you have no intention of proposing for another year or 2?!' He had an answer for everything and it was NOT helping to calm me Then he started to get mad at me b/c I wasn't calming down (which also made things worse, obviously). Anyway... I finally managed to stop crying so I could get ready to go out for dinner. We went to La Trattoria that night, the Italian restaurant at the California Lighthouse. You get to sit outside and watch the sunset - its gorgeous! So we're there and taking pretty pictures of the sunset and all. We sat back down and ordered our food. FH excused himself to go to the bathroom. Our appetizers came so I started to eat mine. Next thing I know, I hear, 'Excuse me, Hun Buns.' I look over and there he is, down on 1 knee with the ring box open. He said, 'Will you marry me?' Of course I started to cry and the whole restaurant started clapping. I said to him, 'You mean I basically had a nervous breakdown today for no reason?' He was like, 'Yup!' He is STILL so proud of himself for getting me all riled up before proposing

One week after Christmas, we were taking the tree down and under the tree skirt there was a little box with a ribbon. Well, I thought it was a gift we forgot to give someone so I said what's that? He goes... I dunno, open it. I said, I'm folding up the skirt, can you get it? So he picks it up and brings it to me and says, I really think you should open it. At this point I'm starting to realize what it might be, so I start shaking but I'm still not 100% sure. So I open it up and see the black velvet box... immediately start to cry... and then I opened it! Wow! So he says, what's your answer? I say - what's the question?!?! He was so nervous, he forgot to ask the question!!! So then he takes the ring, gets down on one knee and asks me. IT was soooooooo great and a TOTAL surprise.

he wrote me a poem called the one got down on one knee and opened the box--nothing was in it- i was so upset thinking he was playing a sick sick sick joke. then he called my puppy in and she had the ring around her neck!!! it was perfect

it was fh's birthday and i took him out to dinner at danfords in port jeff....one of our favorite places...his birthday is january 26th....we had finished eating dinner and were having coffee and dessert...he gave me a card and i was like why are you giving me a card on YOUR birthday???? he said to read it and in it he wrote the story of why an e-ring and a wedding band is typically worn on your ring finger on the left hand....i was so confused....i look over at him and he is on his knee and proposed!!!!!!! i know people say it all the time, but i truly had no clue it was going to happen that night....most wonderful night of my entire life!!!!

Easter Dinner at the Milleridge Inn for Dinner with 35 of his family members and my close immediate family.. He told me that morning that he didn't get me an Easter Basket.. I was a little disappointed but got over it ( I guess at the age of 24 I really don't need one LOL)..... So when we got the restaurante we were all waiting to be seated and we had his neice and nephews Easter Basket and he suggested we go put htem in the back of his Mom's car.. So ofcourse I followed... AND... when we got to the car he gave me an Easter Bunny Anne Geddes doll and then said ' Oh I do have an Easter Basket for you' And I think I jumped like a little Kid in a candy shop... Well Then he told me to look inside... and I said ' I can see inside it. it's clear plastic' LOL.... So after some fighting I looked inside and in it was a litte egg colored clear bag witha picture of him and a small black box. the picture was one I had taken of him at Disney of him in Goofy hay and he printed on it ' Will you Marry Me'.. Ofcourse I said yes and then he gave me the ring!

FH proposed to me right in the middle of the street island thing in Times Square. He wanted to do it there since we went on our first date at a restaurant in Times Square

I think I posted this once before but here it is again...
FH said he wanted to do something special for his 30th birthday so he planned a hiking trip with friends. The goal was to hike Mount Washington. It is the highest point in the Northeast with some of the world's most extreme weather.
So we got up at 5am, had a light breakfast and was at the trail by 6am. We hiked for 6 hours. I started off wearing a tank top, then a long sleeve, then fleece, then windbreaker and winter coat at the summit. One mile before the summit, I think I told FH that I wasn't going to make it. He should continue with his friends. He said, no, you don't UNDERSTAND. You're getting your a ss to the summit! I paid no attention. 6 hours later, we finally maked it to the summit. At that point the rain had turned to snow and we were literally in the clouds. I had my hood pulled over my head. We waited in line to have our pictures taken. It was finally out turn for pics. All of a sudden FH dropped to his knees. He said something but I can't hear a word. My hoodie was on tight and the wind was blowing. But I saw the bling. At first I was like, are you kidding me? here? but I said yes.





FH said we have to go back for our anniversary. NO WAY! I already earned my ring.

christmas morning....we opened all the presents and then started looking around confused.....i asked what was wrong and he said 1 was missing so like an idiot i was like yay another present where did it go?? loking all over. Then he got his jacket and said he was gonna look in the car.....put his hands in his pockets and said DUH here it is so i sat down like a little kid and did that gimmie gimmie thing like a child goes with their hands when they want something lol and he said you opened enough presents today ill open it...it started to hit me. then he got the box open and got on 1 knee and tld me that i make him so happy and he never wants that happiness to end will you marry me...i never enven said yes LMAO i was crying so hard and hugging him lol i found out later at dinner that when i threw my arms around him i knocked the ring box and all out of his hand and it flew across the room and bouced off the firs place door. good thing they were closed or i would have lost my ring

New Year's Eve in Mexico! He proposed as the clock struck midnight in NY. It was the most unreal and amazing moment of my life.

two years ago. In the casino of the MGM in vegas as we were coming out from a david copperfield show. he got down on his knee in front of all those people!!!

Then we partied at a spanish place in the hotel until 3 am, then he had a limo pick us up at the hotel and take us to a helicopter to fly to the grand canyon. I was so hungover i puked the entire flight. no joke, i was sitting by the pilot and he looked like he needed to crack a window or he was going to be sick.

then we touched down on the grand canyon and FH had a picnic with champagne etc. he warned me a million times not to drink the champagne those who know me know that wsn't happening, so I got sick all the way back too.

we took the helicopter to colorado and rafted down the colorado river for a few hours.

it was very romantic and we had a wonderful time.
