As you can see I am bored at work again =) How did everyones FH propose?
We were on the beach in Aruba when he asked...it was so nice and perfect == I know I'm a mush
FH did not get down on one knee though...I had said I wanted to go shopping for this ring I wanted of my birthstone ...so he said instead of going shopping for a ring tomorrow maybe you can take this one instead!!

We were on a two vacation in Italy. He did it the first day we got to Venice.... our hotel had a really nice garden with tables so he went and got a glasses of wine and we were sitting there and he was talking to me about how much he loved me and i wasnt even listening!!!! He pulled a box out from under the table and asked me to marry him...

He took me down to the beach before we were supposed to go to dinner, we sat on the jetty, his father's ashes are scattered there and told me his dad would have loved to have met me and got down on one knee.

He took me to our favorite restaurant at South Street Seaport then we went to Central Park. We hopped on a horse and buggy and he proposed while we were riding through the park! Perfect!

He became manager of a store for his company, and he was going there on a Saturday to get it ready for it's opening day that Monday and asked me to take a ride to see it. So we went to his office, and he was getting the place together as I sat there playing on the computer. As we were getting ready to leave, he started saying how this was a really big step for him - getting the promotion, becoming manager, and there was another big step he wanted to take, and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

On Christmas eve i begged to open a present. He said I could see what was in my stocking only. In my stocking was a bag of jelly belly jelly beans (something he gave me on our first date). he asked me to find a particular flavor for him, little did i know he'd already taken out all the jelly beans of that flavor and in my search i found MY RING!

He brought me to Italy to meet his family. He said the first night we would stay in a hotel, because he knew I would be overwelmed meeting everyone and wanted to give me some time to relax. He brought me to a gorgeous hotel and we had a beautiful suite. We showered and we were going to walk around to check out the place. He brought me to this circle area overlooking the water and mountains, then he got down on his knee. The rest is history!!! I have to say he did an amazing job!

I was getting a manicure at the nail salon and he came to pick me up. He went into the bathroom when I was drying my nails and he came out with tulips (my fav) and the girls put our song on. I didn't realize it until he went down on one knee...
Complete surprise and totally original!
We are getting married on the day we met, nine years later!
It's really special and nice to be surprised. I knew we were going to get engaged soon, but at the nail salon?
