As you can see I am bored at work again =) How did everyones FH propose?
We were on the beach in Aruba when he asked...it was so nice and perfect == I know I'm a mush
FH did not get down on one knee though...I had said I wanted to go shopping for this ring I wanted of my birthstone ...so he said instead of going shopping for a ring tomorrow maybe you can take this one instead!!

right on the tarmack in cabo!!!!! ha ha i forgot my sunglasses so i said '**ck I forgot my shades and he said ' you are gonna need your sunglasses when you see this' and pulls out the box I WAS FLOORED......

It was our one year anniversary actually two days after the date b/c we both had that day off. Needless to say I was beyond pissed b/c our actual anniversary passed and he did not get me so much as a card. I was hysterical mean, short and nasty.
We were out to dinner at Mylos in the City He said to me I have an important question to ask you. I looked away completely not interested and said 'SHOOT'
Well he got down on one knee and proposed. I was shocked it was a complete surprise.!!!
I do love that man!!

He took me to dinner to the restaurant where I work (LeColonial) and had closed off the 2nd floor terrace just for us. I had no clue what was happening. He asked when the ring was brought out in my champaign glass.

we where home and i was cooking him dinner, and at that time we wanted to learn how to cook so he would help me cook dinner.
so i told him to get a small bowl and some eggs, so he handed them too my and said you have flour all in your ring ( a ring my mom bought me) let me wash it for you and when he went to put the ring back on he put on a different ring i looked at the ring in complete shock ( like OMG what is this) and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him

Tied the ring on a ribbon around our puppy's neck, and he ran over to me, as I was cooking dinner!! lol

We were at an INN in NJ and he said he wanted to go get ice..but then he said 'nah, lets just take a walk, its so pretty here' so we were sitting by the lake talking and smoking a cigg and i turn to him and he's on one knee with the box in his hand.

We were walking around Disney world and stopped by Cinderella fountain behind the castle and we sat down on the bench and he got down on one knee and asked me- there was a Disney photographer there that took our photo- it was total cool-people were cheering and clapping-

We went to wildwood NJ (we were revisiting the first place we went away) and he proposed at sunset on the beach. he was behing me and wrapped his arms around my my front and handed me a box, when i opneded it, it was empty so i turned around and he was on one knee with ring in hand!

he booked a room at the garden city hotel for after our anniversary dinner at Ruth's Chris. I knew when we walked into the room and it was decorated and there was champagne. He proposed, we went out to meet our friends and family and then we retired to our room at the GCH for the night

He took me down to the beach before we were supposed to go to dinner, we sat on the jetty, his father's ashes are scattered there and told me his dad would have loved to have met me and got down on one knee.

On the beach in Miami around 1:00am...he was saying how much I meant to him then he goes down on one knee and a Miami Police officer comes on those 4-wheeler (I originally thought it was a photographer or something lol) and asks me if i had my bag and I was like wft dont you see my b/f is proposing lol...then he drives off and then he comes back and says 'mam are you sure you have your bag, you need to becareful here' i said 'YES I HAVE MY BAG!!! ' It was soooo weird...so i call it Miami Cop ruins NYPD cops proposal lol...but I was so excited!!!

he took the day off without me knowing - he got up, showered, put on a suit (told me had a meeting that day - that was his cover for not being able to get in touch with him ) and he left the house 'for work' he waited for me to leave and then he went back home - of course that day i went to work like a slob b/c it was the day before 4th of july and i knew my boss would let me leave and since my fam was coming from florida to visit on the 4th i figured as soon as i got home id clean the apartment and then shower and blow out my hair nice so it would last for the next day - so keep in mind im not showered and my hair is gross and dirty while i was at work FH cleaned the entire house - it was immaculate - he actually recruited his mom to help him clean hahahaha - when i got home from work i noticed right away that the ironing board was put away so i was confused - Pum our dog came running to me and she had her collar on (she never wears it) so all her tags were making sounds and she was wearing a little sign - it said Mommy on it - in the inside it said that FH had to ask me a question (except i didnt read that part until after) so i was like James? are you home? and i kind of thought maybe it was going to happen but i was so confused and shocked that i was convincing myself it wasnt so i wouldnt be disappointed if i was wrong...then i saw him in the kitchen there were sunflowers all behind him (my fav is sunflowers) and before i knew it he was down on one knee - i was so shocked i couldnt do or say anything - he set up two cameras in our kitchen so its actually on video! we look so awkward and dorky in the tape and of course Pumpkin was jumping all over us when we were hugging and kissing! it was sweet - totally not what i expected but at the same exactly what i expected - because i knew it would be random, i knew pum would be there, but i thought he would have said a long speech but he didnt, he was so nervous and anxious that all he said was 'will you marry me' really fast

We got a wedding invitation for someone that FH works with whose wedding was on our 5 year anniversary. I was bummed that we had to go to a wedding for someone I didn't know on our special day so I complained A LOT!! We ended up spening the early part of the day at the vineyards out on LI since he wanted to make it up to me and when we got to the hotel we were staying at for the wedding I walked into the room and saw flowers. When I turned around to say thank you he had the ring in his hand and said that's not the only surprise I have for you, I made the wedding up!! We then went out for dinner and spent the night at the hotel, it was great. The best thing is that he printed the invitation himself, got the wording from his best friend who just got married and even bought love stamps to put on the return envelope so I wouldn't be suspicious! I really give him a lot of credit.
