LOL,,, my BM Lisa was with her now FH in the city going to Serendipity. That morning he didnt finish his bagel and she thought it was odd,, she said he was a little 'off' all day and then when they got to Serendipity he was waiting in the line to fet in for over a hour, he couldnt wait anymore and finally proposed outside the place! LOL,,, she said they never actually even went in!

HAHAHA see womans intuition, it always works lol...awwww thats cute though, poor guys sit there and prepare for so long and are all nervous then things have to go wrong and makes them go crazy

Sooooo...he told me it would be in the fall....all fall long...nothing!! Thanksgiving...nothing!

Dec 22nd, the last day of classes for the school I teach at.

I go to lunch with my friends and call him. He doesn't sound right to me (damn 7 years of dating I know him so well) My friends start teasing me that he's gonna propose on Christmas......

Last hour of classes, my kindergrtners are watching Frosty and having snack. I get paged to the office that I have a visitor. It's FH (so not like him) So he comes into the room and he's sitting in a little kid chair and hands me a package...I open it, and it's an ornament(in album) that says, 'Will you Marry Me?' As I'm reading it, he's already on his knee with the ring!!

It was the most magical moment of my life thus far!

Here's mine, kinda long...sorry...
It was Nov 17th and I was going home to my parents to have dinner and when we were about to sit down my cell rang and I was trying to convince him to go to happy hour with me and my friends. He said no and that he left me something on the front porch. I went out, there was a bouquet of flowers, 2 envelopes and a small tape player. I opened the card and he wrote me a nice letter about us and our 6+ years together, and then in the other envelope was a tape and a safety pin. I played the tape and it said to bring the safety pin to his house for the next clue. So, I drove to his house and went into his bedroom. In front of me was a red balloon that said 'pop me first.' I popped the balloon and another tape fell out. The tape told me to pop the 16 pink balloons and put together the pieces of the puzzle. I pop the balloons and puzzle pieces were flying everywhere (i love puzzles, yes I'm a dork!) I put together the puzzle and there was a piece missing. I popped the last red balloon that said 'pop me last' and there was another tape that said use the directions in the envelope on the desk to find the missing piece to the puzzle. Obviously by this time I knew what was going on. I followed the directions to a hotel and went up to the room where he was waiting in a suit in a room filled with candles and champagne. He was so nervous, he got down on one knee and proposed right away. It was so super cute. Oh btw, the puzzle was a picture of him and the missing piece was his hand holding my ring! I love him!!

heres mine: kinda long !

FH and i went up to his g-mas house in PA on a lake we go there alot cuz its a free vacation! anyway it was like a last hooray for us since he was starting the NYPD academy 3 days after we got back and i was going back to school i had a feeling he was going to do it but he was really good and making me believe he wasnt anyway we make a fire and sit by it evernight were there since we have to burn the garbage and its just fun and something to do on a good night you see TONS of stars and just listen to the stupid frogs. its very peacefull and romantic. so the second to last night he was outside making the fire and i was going in to take a shower so me being nosey i look through his luggage and find nothing so i was like oh well maybe soon. so i take my shower put on my old YUCKY pjs holey tshirt and stained yoga pants then go out side.. (mind you he had alrady taken the ring out of his bag and put it in the shed outside) so i sit down and he stars pacing back and forth so i say sit down your making me nervous and hes like ijust need to put the boat battery away. so he puts the batter in the shed while hes doing that he got the ring and slipped it into his pocket. so then hes like can you stand up and im like NO IM WATCHING THE FIRE and hes like PLEASE just do it so i stand up and then he gets down on one knee and i start hysterical crying he says what hes got to say and opens the box and i say 'IS THAT REAL?? IS THIS A JOKE? IF IT IS ITS REALLY MEAN AND NOT FUNNY!!' he says ' no its not a joke and will you answer me' so i yell yes i get and echo cuz its so quite up there !!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! so perfect wouldnt have had it any other way. I also told him that if he did it infront of people i would say no. i wanted it to be special and just the 2 of us so this was perfect! im done with my book now thanks for listening!

Steve actually had a weekend off and kept insisting we go away for the weekend. We LOVE Lake George but there was a motor show and everyplace was booked, so I figured lets just forget it. He said no, and told me to look into Hershey, Pennsylvania.

I found a hotel, and the first night we really didnt do much, just went and got something to eat and checked out some other stores, then went back to the room, to relax because the next day we were getting up early to go to the park.

We were already in her PJs and I was on my laptop and he was flipping through the channels, he kept moving and starting to speak, then laughing... (to be honest, he was annoying me, I was trying to type and my laptop was shaking all over) so I finally said 'are you trying to say something, spit it out!'...

So he did.. We started dating 5 years ago after a group weekend trip to Hershey, so he was saying all this stuff about it, and I was like half paying attention.. So I said, 'while you talk, get me my pocketbook please' .. Apparently that was his cue.. the ring was under the bed, he pulled it out and said 'will you marry me?'

I actually got mad, thinking he was joking... I was like 'dont do that to me' 'thats not funny' so I rolled over and tried to go to bed. Then a light must have went off and I realized he was NOT kidding, so I was like 'OF COURSE!!!' then also said he better not be kidding, cause I will hurt him.

Obviously he wasnt kidding....
Not super romantic, but its our little funny story, it felt like it was 20 minutes, but probably only 2 or 3 passed.

FH and I went to Vegas on July 14th, 2006 for a week. The night before we left for Vegas, he had told me he had created a photo montage with a program on his new laptop. He had done this for me before b/c he knows I love pictures...so I didn't think anything of it. When we arrived to our villa, FH told me he had brought the DVD he made and asked if I wanted to see it. We noticed there was a DVD player in the bedroom so we put it in. As I watched the different photo slides...they looked just like the other slideshows he had made for me before. But he pointed out the different effects this program had. I kept watching...then we got to the last slide...which was a picture from last year's summer vacation...and on the bottom of the slide was the caption...MARRY ME???? I couldn't believe what I was reading...then I turned to him and he was standing by the left side of the bed with the ring box in his hand!!! Of course I started to cry...then I hugged and kissed him, put the ring on and he said to me you still haven't answered me...of course I said YES!!!!

It was great...

i was mad at fh because he kept me up all night the day before (he works long hrs and i cant sleep when he isn't home).

anyway...the next day i get home from work and there's a cutely wrapped little box in front of our door that says open me...so i do and it says there will be more of these boxes and clues around the place...there were like 6 of them (all that pertained to our hobbies/vacations/etc). i thought he did it because i was mad and was making it up etc. the last one led me to our mailbox...inside was another box and a tiara...that said something like put this on because i think u are the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world...make sure it fits and hurry back. so i did. and when i got back there were candles lit and rose petals on the ground and FH down on one knee...of course he asked and i said Yes!

then he had a special dinner prepared which my favorite foods from my favorite different restaurants.

he had been hiding in our apt the whole time i was looking for clues!

anyway...the next day i get home from work and there's a cutely wrapped little box in front of our door that says open me...so i do and it says there will be more of these boxes and clues around the place...there were like 6 of them (all that pertained to our hobbies/vacations/etc). i thought he did it because i was mad and was making it up etc. the last one led me to our mailbox...inside was another box and a tiara...that said something like put this on because i think u are the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world...make sure it fits and hurry back. so i did. and when i got back there were candles lit and rose petals on the ground and FH down on one knee...of course he asked and i said Yes!

then he had a special dinner prepared which my favorite foods from my favorite different restaurants.

awww that is sooo cute...Its actually a good thing he did it when you were mad at him because this way it made you think what he was doing was just to make up with you and didn't make you think maybe he was proposing...Plus after that you can't be mad at him, so that was resolved without even talking about it hahaha

That is really really cute. It really shows how much he knows and loves you with the different things in different boxes and the dinner! I did the scavenger hunt thing too, I loved it!

Woke up for work(school) and I asked him to let Bella (chihuahua)out. He said no. I threw the covers off and stormed out of the room to let her out. I noticed she was wearing a new Coach collar (she never wears any collar, let alone a Coach one!). On the collar, he had put the ring. Then he said, 'So will ya?' I said yes and then he told the dog she messed it up and they had spent all yesterday practicing for nothing!! I'm glad he involved the dog because I love her!!!

That is adorable!!!

Laying on the couch watching tv, I flipped past an episode of platinum weddings (which FH never lets me leave on) and he says, 'We can watch this if you want' So I left it on and we watched for a few minutes and then he looked at me and said 'Will you marry me?' I thought he was kidding and told him he shouldn't say stuff like that if he was only kidding. He replied 'Who's kidding?' and out came the ring box!!!!

It was not the fanciest of proposals, but it was very 'us'

Aww thats so cute, my FH involved my dog as well because I'm so in love with him and he is like our 'son'. Anyway, we went to Mexico and FH was going to propose then, but he special ordered the ring and they said it would be ready in time and it wasn't SO that was out. Then he was going to surprise me and do something in the apartment and have it ready when I got home from work (he got home way before me usually) but then I quit my job and was home all the time so he had no time to plan a surprise. So he just decided that in order to surprise me he had to do it at a random time, so we took the dog for a walk on the promendade where I live(i live a few blocks from the water) and he was going to do it under this big beautiful tree that we sit under sometimes but there was a bum sitting there (figures). So he just did it on as we were sitting on a bench. It actually turned out to be so beautiful, with the water, we were right under the Verrazano bridge, our doggie was there and now everytime I pass that spot I think of him and that moment!!!
