This topic has been posted a million times but now here it is with a poll!
Met FH at a bar in Vegas on a random Monday night. I was living there and he was there for work and staying at the Palms. My friend was also staying at the Palms for work and invited me to stay with her in her lovely enourmous suite! Anyway, we went out for a late drink and bam, there was FH! (PS - this is also the shortened version! It was actually alot more romantic and coincidental than it sounds!) (PSS - We found out he was also in Vegas the week before and we were at the same place at the same time and he met all my friends!)

IVE written it dozens of times in here so i'll keep it short. Although i knew who he was for many years and he knew who i was we never had spoken and grew up 2 blocks away from eachother. One night at a club he was with friends i knew and he knew who i was with and then he pulled me over to go to the bar alone to get a drink and the rest is history
OH wow i ACTUALLY keep something short , im proud of myself
ETA: of course i have to add, he also delivered to me for 4 years when he worked delivering for an italian restaurant while he was in college

Through a mutual friend.... to be exact i was seeing his good friend and that is how i met FH
Ironic thing is, while i was seeing this guy, all he would do is say how i have to meet his friend, and how funny his friend is.....

FH was my last match on eharmony.com.
I joined after I was done with my Masters, my subscription was expiring and I had decided not to renew and go the conventional route. My last note to him on eharmony was 'I'm not renewing but my IM screename is bluekat16, you can reach me there.' We met 2 months later and the rest is history

We're both teachers and my first job was at the school he still works at. My classroom was placed next to his and he would always pop into my room while I was putting up bulletin boards or doing grading to see if I needed help.
Then, on one of the first happy hours that I was invited to he was there and we started talking. I was seeing someone else at the time, but I was on the verge of breaking up with him anyway. Eventually FH won my heart and I dumpped the idiot I was seeing for him.

i've seen him around church for like 3years but never spoken to him because he was going out with a girl that was very jealous. they dated for 3 1/2 years and broke up.. it sounds bad but as soon as they broke up we started talking and weve seen eachother everyday since then. that exact date was 8/21/05

FH and I met once four years before we started to ever date from mutual friends. Four years later we ended up meeting again and this time we were both single and it just kind of happened.

yup i actually love the way we met and that we knew alot of the same people. WHen he introduced himself it was funny bc he shook my hand and said 'hi, im joe and your name?' and i said 'im denise' and then 2 seconds later he was like 'i know who you are Denise' and i was like oh yeah ESPO
