FH was my last match on eharmony.com.

I joined after I was done with my Masters, my subscription was expiring and I had decided not to renew and go the conventional route. My last note to him on eharmony was 'I'm not renewing but my IM screename is bluekat16, you can reach me there.' We met 2 months later and the rest is history

Through match.com the same day (5 hours after) i broke up with a guy after 5 years. My friend put my profile on match.com when he saw how unhappy i was and realized it was only a matter of time. I never understood why i was receiving winks from match.com so i always erased them unopened. The day i broke up with him, i was talking to my friend and mentioned i kept getting stuff from match.com. He explained to me that he signed me up. That night i received a wink in my inbox opened it and now im marrying him. Funny thing is he sent the wink the day before...luckily it took a day to get to me otherwise he would have been part of my mailbox's recycle bin!

How could i not?? He sent the wink june 28,04...i broke up with my ex and met him june 29th, 04 and now we are getting married that same fateful day that he initially saw my profile, june 28, 2008. I have the printotus of our profiles which are fun to look at from time to time.

the very short version is... we met at a party our first week of college and then found out we lived on the same floor!

'10 crasher here...I love these stories...its so interesting to hear how people met...Me and fh met on my first day of College, and have been together ever since. Thats funny too because we are from the same neighborhood and know a lot of the same people and probably would have ran into each other eventually...But it was love at first sight for me...

My best friend was dating his best friend, and they decided to introduce us.

ps - after four years together, our friends broke up a few months ago, but they are still both in our wedding party. Should be verrrrry interesting...

we met at a friend's BBQ in May 2003. We then met again in Nov. 2003, but still didn't go on our first date until Dec. 12th, 03. lol

Little did I know that was my last 'first date'

At Sullivan's on Bell Blvd...my friend just moved to flushing, had a sex and the city party at her appt (basically we drank cosmos and watched reruns of the show until we got over our girl night and wanted to meet guys!) I was with about 15 girls and he was there with one of his friends watching some football game...i noticed him right away, made 'eyes' and he came over and he and his friend bought us all drinks...needless to say, we were inseparable from that day on...

online. I ended a relationship a day or two before and he just signed up for the dating website. I was the first person he chatted with and the rest is history.
