Hi everyone,
We got engaged on Thanksgiving and we've been keeping it a secret for Christmas. Im about to burst if I dont tell anyone, but Im hanging in there. I've all ready figured out how to announce my engagement to my cousins. As one of their Christmas presents, I found little teddy bears in wedding dresses and with a label maker I made the bears a banner that reads 'Will you be my BM,MOH?' Now Im trying to find an innovative way to tell my parents and the rest of the family. I would love to hear your suggestions. The more creative the better!!!![]()

You dont even know how hard it is to keep it in. But I just keep telling myself it's just a week away. Plus now that I told all of you guys, I feel a bit more relieved!!![]()

we were meeting friends for ice cream the night we got engaged...we sat there not saying a word and I had my hands folded together to show off the ring with my chin resting on my folded hands.... and eventually our newlywed friends (well, the bride) looked at my finger, at me, at my finger, at him and shouted ' What the h*** is that?? Are you for real??!) LOL-it was late so we couldn't call anyone...but we called everyone the next few days!!!

I didn't 'announce' it formally. My dad and sister were there when I got engaged so no need to tell them. We called FH's parents from the restaurant after I stopped going 'OMG! OMG!' over and over![]()
We both had the next day off (he planned his day off, at the time I didn't work Mondays) and just called all our friends and told them.
The way I asked my bm's to be my bm's...not formally at all. My sister....we were chatting and I said 'ya wanna be my MOH?'. I asked another two in person and the 3rd I was trying to ask in person but our jobs keep us from getting together so I asked her over the phone. She knew I was going to ask anyway.
It sounds like it will be a great holiday for everyone you love with announcing the engagement!![]()

Im all ready getting antsy about it. I cant wait to tell everyone!!! Actually Im more excited about seeing the look on their face. We've been going out for 5 years so everyone is kinda waiting for it!!
