How did you decide on what date to get Married?

Ladies...I am curious to know why did you choose your wedding date? The reason being......

I will start my first wedding date choice was 09/04/04 or 09/05/04-but my dog died around that time and I got so depressed...so, I changed it for 07/31/04.....and coincedental enough...if you play with those #'s. It is my b-day and my year I was born. How ironic...

Shana, LOL, your husband is on a softball team too? I wouldn't be able to schedule it when they play either.

SAME HERE...LOL...and he has bowlings on Thursday nights so I am getting a ' I dont knwo if we can have RD the night before the wedding!!'

We picked March because of Price and when we found our hall it was the only Friday left open!

Hey Spitzergirl... We have the same date 7/31/04. I am a teacher so I wanted to get married inthe summer. My first choice was 7/17/04 but the hall was already booked for that date. The hall only had 2 dates left for the summer, so we chose 7/31/04.

Well, FH graduates from graduate school May 2005 so we knew it would have to be after that. We originally thought October/November cause I am not a fan of the summer (I hate to be hot!) but when we went to look at halls it was mid december last year and the places were decorated for the holidays & I LOVED it!
We didn't choose the beginning of december cause we wanted to leave enough time after the wedding for a honeymoon and moving time without running into the holidays. So we chose Jan 7, all the holidays are done and Fox Hollow will still be decorated for the holidays! (and the huge pricebreak helps A LOT!) GOod Luck all!
