How did you decided on your briedsmaid dress color??

How did you decided on your briedsmaid dress color??

I'm having so much difficulty picking a color. My bridesmaids are all very different, some are tan/olive/yellow undertones and olthers are pale/fair/pinkish undertones. Did you try and pick a color that would look good on everyone or did you just choose what you liked best????

Actually, the florist helped me out but I really loved the color because it was different

I am still trying to decide on what color I want (I have 2 ideas), but overall I am going to pick one that would look good on all the girls AND ME. I say and me b/c if I am going to be surrounded by the color I want one that looks good on me!

The contendors for my BM colors are...
Aqua
OR
Pink and Green

thats pretty much my two options - either pik/hot pink not sure which or aqua...

I did hot pink/ pale pink and lime green for my engagement party and I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!

My color (burgandy) makes sense for me in a couple of ways
1 - Its my favorite color
2 - Its the color that compliments me the most
3 - It compliments the complexion of all my BM's

Since my wedding was in December I went with red...not very creative...but, I LOVED the color...Euro Red by Bill Levkoff.

I'm getting married in the fall so I would have loved a burgandy color, but I have two red heads in my wedding party. Instead I went with charcoal grey and burgandy flowers.

Since we had an Irish feel to our wedding and it was right around St Patricks Day I picked green.

purple was my fave color and I used periwinkle which flattered all the girls in my BP

I was set on doing lavander or pink. I went the week before with my Mom to pull dresses so when I went with my girls to pick out a dress, it would be easier. (I have 8 girls) I decided they would be able to pick out the dress since they have to pay for it, but I was going with pink or lavander. I also have girls who are size 0-12, olive, fair, blonde, brunette, etc. Well, they all tried on this dress and it was in a Euro Wine and it was SO FLATTERING on ALL of them, so I changed colors, LOL. It was just really nice and they all were so happy, so I was happy. And I can still do pink roses so I am good :)

Hmmm now you have got me thinking about a wine color. You are absolutly right that would look good on everyone! Thanks so much!!

If anyone has pics of their bridesmaid dresses I'm sure people would love to see them!

Ditto. I liked turquoise. Wore it on my prom and wanted it at my wedding.

Well I wanted fire engine red because #1 theyre sexy, #2 Id really stand out, #3 its vibrant and #4 I want a fireman theme :)

I decided what colors I wanted for my wedding in general first then I just shopped for BM gowns that came in that color.

My girls wore Lazaro gowns in Wine.
