How did you determine your Wedding Date?

We originally got married 04/2007 and we just prefer to keep it in the same month. I picked a Sunday because its a whole lot CHEAPER than a Saturday & 2012 will make our 5th wedding Anniversary.....

How did you pick your Month, Date...etc?

I always wanted a fall wedding but since we got engaged in the fall, 10/24/08, I didn't think 1 year was enough time to plan. I'm a ridiculous planner. And a number of our friends just got married this fall. Since FH is a teacher, we decided to make it the summer, and actually its his school's graduation date!

i had this date picked out a while ago. It will be our 10 year anniversary!

That's how we picked our date too.
I've always dream of marrying my FH on our 10th year anniversary...(hoping and praying he'll proposed before than - so we'll have enough time to plan it). Luckily he proposed on our 9th year anniversary so we're getting married that very time next year! Then when 2011 hits - we would have been together for 11 years and it will be our 1st year of marriage - i thought that was beautiful.

we tried to get it as close to our anniversary as possible on a sunday!

Did not want a summer wedding because it was too hot and in the winter we were afraid if it snowed. Always loved the fall so we picked November 2 days after FH's birthday.

we did not want Fridays, Sundays or the summer FH is very busy around the holidays so there went october through january and March (because of preparation for Easter). We have birthdays every weekend in February (crazy right), May is a very big communion/conf month so x that. RH only had 1 day in june and one of GM is graduating that day so that's out. No dates were available in September so therefore APRIL it was

I was hoping for either the Sunday of Labor Day weekend or Columbus Day weekend. I like having that extra day to get ready and people don't have to take the day before off and have an entire Saturday to do what they want. The Sunday of Columbus Day in 2010 is 10/10/10 and places told me this past January that they have had that booked for months already! So Sunday of Labor Day weekend it is! We didn't do 2009 because FSIL got married in May and didn't want to bombard FH's parents with 2 weddings in 1 year!
