How did you KNOW...

after we hung out for the first time ( a mutual friend introduced us), i knew this was gonna be something special and not just another relationship, but i didn't DEFINITELY feel like he was 'the one' until we were dating about 8 months, and my dad got diagnosed with cancer and luke moved in to my parents basement for a week after that to help work at my parents garden center and keep things going while my dad was having all his initial drs appointments and starting treatment. that just showed me that he didn't just care about me, but everybody in my life, too... he was a keeper
