I tried mine on as a joke and when I walked out everyone started crying. Then I realized I was super comfortable, and my boobs looked great! THat's how I knew!

i pretty much hated everything i tried on - except for the one i bought - my friends said i had a huge smile on my face when i looked in the mirror (thats why you bring people with you to shop lol)

Well, I loved it the moment I put it on and then every dress I tried on after that I kept comparing to the one I loved. AND it was the ONLY dress that I didn't want to change anything on. Every other dress I was like, oh i wish the beading was one inch higher, i wish this or that... the dress i picked didn't need anything!

I had a dress in mind for a while. I tried on so many that didnt work for me, I tried on the one I had been eyeing all this time and bingo!!!!!!

You'll know, it's hard to put it into words but you'll know. And then when you find it and you tell people afterward you'll say, 'i just knew'.

I've tried on so many and I'm going through the same thing. I've narrowed it down to 4 and Saturday I'm going back to try them on and see how I feel. This process has not been as easy as I thought it would be.

Well I tried on over 30 dresses, I know that for a fact, partly because I thought I knew what I wanted, but then saw other styles I liked and tried them on too....if that makes sense...lol

My dress kind of fell into my lap. I didn't go expecting to find one, I just happened to be at the right place at the right time....I kept trying it on over and over and knew that was the one

I knew because when I walked out of the dressing room, it just took my breath away, along with everyone else in that shop...I'm not even kidding. I lit up and teared when I saw how I looked...I really felt like an angel!

I knew when i put it on that it was the one..you get a feeling (trust me) and i did NOT want to try on anything else! or take it off..if you still want to and are trying on dresses..its probably not it..

wow, i asked the very same question a while back too. i must have tried on 30 dresses and when i tried on this one dress, i was alone, no pressure, no opinions and no fuss. the reality of it was, for me at least, is to have tried on every possibility for my body type - and then go back and try those types again until you hit this dress in which:
a. you prefer to keep on for an unreasonable amount of time at the dress shop in comparison to when you try on other dresses, non-bridal included.
b. when you try on this dress, it takes a while before the realization hits you. you suddenly realize you don't give a sh%t what anyone thinks of you in it - you love it more than seeking out an opinion from someone else.
c. you think about it a lot more than any other dress you've seen.
d. the comparison of all dresses to that one.
and the last and more impressionable characteristics of finding my favorite bridal gown: as i imagined myself in it, i began to create a clearer picture of what the scene around me was to look like. it re-enforced the way i wanted the wedding to look & feel.
although i can't seem to decide on a hair-did still.
up or down is the question of the bridey-phase.

hmm for me

i was trying to change every other dress into THAT dress after i saw it

like 'oh if i add sleeves here, or lace there it will look like that other dress' lol
