How did you make the decision?

to wear your hair ? I mean I just read a post on how hair looks better up in a certain kind of dress.....and it would look better half of half down in another type of dress... how do ya know which is which ?
I havent decided how to wear my hair yet but I am not sure what would look good with my dress

When you are at your trial will you be able to try different styles??or is that more $$$$$

Re: How did you make the decision?

Mine wasnt' really an option for me. FH wanted me to wear my hair down. He hasn't asked for very much in the whole wedding planning but one of the very first things he asked me for when I started looking at dresses was he wanted me to wear my hair down. I showed him a few styles, he picked a few he liked and I will pick the final say.

Sorry I am no help to what you were asking

Re: How did you make the decision?

It's really a personal decision about what you think looks best and what is more comfortable for you.

I wore mine 1/2 up - 1/2 down because of a few reasons -
I don't like my hair up (I always look like Marge Simpson)
DH prefers my hair down
I knew I was going to wear my veil all night

Re: How did you make the decision?

I initally wanted my hair down and curly, it's not long enough for it to look right so I decided to have it up. You have to look at the neckline of the dress and if you want a headpiece. My dress is off the shoulders so I wanted it down but like I said it wasn't long enough so I'm wearing it up. Sorry if I wasn't much help.

Re: How did you make the decision?

I wore my hair all up because I KNOW ME and my hands would have been in it all day thus making it flat, etc.

I also think for the look of wearing it out, I would have needed longer hair - same for half up/down.

ETA: My dress style didn't really play into my decision.

Re: How did you make the decision?

I tend to mess around with my hair if it's down, so I was fairly certain from the get-go that I would wear it up. When I found my dress, I knew the look I wanted to go for- Audrey Hepburn-esque, so I decided to go with a fairly old fashioned French twists with a lot of height up front. My dress is also strapless and I have a long neck and narrow back that I like to accentuate. Plus Fh loves my hair pulled away from my face.

Re: How did you make the decision?

I have very long, thick, curly hair. I wanted it all up so it was out of my face and off the back of my neck.Z

Re: How did you make the decision?

for me mostly it was just me, not the dress. My head looks big & round with my hair up,, but it wil lfall flat if I wear it down,so I have to weari t half up.
How I want to wear it half up, has a little to do with my dress. I want a natural look, not a sophisticated or trendy look.

So just think of what words you would use to describe the way you want to look & see if they apply to the hairstyle look like.

Or show is picture & we'll choose

I was thinking of wearing my hair down, but i knew i would be fussing with it all night. i'd rather put it all up, and not have to worry about it.

Re: How did you make the decision?

I am going to wear my hair half up just because I feel more comfortable with some hair touching my shoulders (I have a strapless dress). It is a personal decision..its what you think will make you feel comfortable and beautiful!

Re: How did you make the decision?

I'm planning on having it half up and half down... I want to look more glamorous than every day but still look like myself.

But yes, regardless I'll have to put shalack in my hair to keep away the frizzies.

Re: How did you make the decision?

I did let my dress have some say in my hairstyle. My dress was very flowy and soft. I felt like if my hair was all up or back then it might look odd with the dress. I went with half and half. My hair complimented my dress and I looked like myself.

Re: How did you make the decision?

I decided to wear my hair down because I like my hair and didn't want to pile it all up into some updo that would be crunchy from too much hairspray and eventually would give me a headache and I would have to take out 200 bobby pins and...and...and...

I just wanted my hair to be free!

Re: How did you make the decision?

I made the decision to wear my hair up because I have very fine hair, and it flops in under an hour, so there was no other alternative for me.

Re: How did you make the decision?

I chose to wear my hair up because I prefer that look. Also, it isn't likely to get messed up. And my hair could get all frizzy by the end of the night if I wore it down.

Re: How did you make the decision?

Well, I haven't even gone dress shopping yet but I know how I want my hair!

I have a pin head and I am not a tiny girl so I would look terrible with my hair all pulled back. I am trying to grow out my hair so I can have the long, wavy, jessica Simpson looking curls, either half up or all down.

I am going to look for a dress that is off the shoulder so everything will compliment one another!

Good luck!
