I'll try to make this brief.
FH and I met on backstagejbj.com. Yes the Bon Jovi fan club website. I was working a boring temp job and b.s.ing on the internet and posting about the Yankees in the playoffs - I mentioned this on the BJ website because I was at a playoff game and Paul O'Neill had a Bon Jovi song play when he came up to bat. FH saw my post, clicked on my profile, emailed me because he wanted to chat about the games. We were emailing about baseball for about a month, then it got more personal, then we saw each other's pictures and it got flirtatious...even though we both knew it was crazy as I was in NY and he was in GA. But it was meant to be and we met 5 months later!! And then he moved back to NJ 2 years after that! (he was originally from NJ)

I met FH first at my fave pizza place back in the day, then he turned out to be a regular at my favorite bar! We became friends, thru the years we always kept in touch, then we showed up on each others match.com profiles! But non of that took! Last year we went to DC for some baseball games and that finally took! We have been together ever since. In total we have known each other for over a decade!

This is a really funny story...in High school one of my best friends ( at the time) was going out with a guy that her parents weren't too happy with. Your typical 'bad boy' image. Well one night she got me to take a walk with her to the gas station on the corner where long and behold her boyfriend was going to meet us. Well let me tell you I almost died!!! All of a sudden I hear a loud car off in the distance playing loud Metal Music. I'm freakin out wondering what did i get myself into... As the car pulled up I noticed the drvier...again the bad boy look, leather jacket and blah blah blah... at first I said who is this weirdo then my freind said get in... I was like what you want me to die!!!! Well as the night progressed I was really begining to like the driver of the car...I found out that he was dating someone which was fine cause in the back of my mind I knew my parents would flip if I brought this one home... To make a long story short my friend used me as an excuss to see her boyfriend so that required me being around all the time which in turn help me become best freinds with my FH...after a year or 2 my FH had broken up with his ex girlfrend and before you now it 8 years went by and now we are getting married in 9 days....Oh and I was right my parents didn't like him the first time i brought him home...but after they got to know him they love him!!!!

My FH and I met the same way!!!! Except not on the Bon Jovi website, we met on the Dave Matthews Band fan club website. We had talked probably for about 6 months before we met. He was living here in Wisconsin and I was living in south Florida. Then the Dave Matthews Band held a Caribbean Cruise getaway to see them play on an island in the Bahamas, so we took this as the perfect opportunity to meet. So him, and a bunch of other 'DMB friends' made their way down to my house in Florida for the cruise. I picked FH up at the airport, where we met for the first time...and the rest was history, as they say. I moved to Wisconsin to be with him 3 weeks after getting back from the cruise!

Me and my FH met through a my friend. She was going out with his best friend and he was dating some B I T C H. Well she cheated on him they broke up and he would hang out at the pool hall that I DJed at. . . . . . Everytime I saw him i would tell my partner that I would marry him someday. . . I went up to him one day and he was a total D I C K and I was like ewwww. . . then a few months later I tried hooking him up with a friend of mine.. . . he was playing darts and went up and kick him in his butt and pushed him into the dart board he turned saw the girl and looked so frightened lol then he looked at me and smiled. . I swear it was the best smile I ever saw since that day we were always together. . hes my best friend I love him so much. . . . . . . .

My good friend I worked with years (when I was in college) wanted to set me up with her baby cousin (mind you she's a few years older than me so I thought he was a little kid... LOL). Also, she said I really should date a Jewish guy b/c I never did. She gave him my # and a week later he called and we were on the phone for a looong time talkin about sports and ourselves (both Mets and Jets fans). Over 3 and a half years later we're now married!!
So now my friend is family.

MY FH and I worked at the same restaurant on the weekends, but I would work in the am and he would work at night. I knew who he was but that was about it. One of our coworkers was getting married we both went solo to the wedding and wound up sitting next to each other. Talking and dancing the whole night... It was awesome.... the rest is history

I met my FH in the woods We were both geocaching (it's like a game of hide and seek with a GPS) and racing to the same cache to get a decryption kep to other caches. Everyone in the area was after this key so it was really hard to get ahold of. Apparently we both saw it had been placed locally while we were at work. I called my friedn adn we met up after work and grabbed the decryption key.
Later that night there was a post on the geocaching message board from another cacher (FH ) telling a tale of woe about racing to pick up his son after work and then carrying him through pricker bushes only to find that I had beaten him to the cache. I felt kinda sorry for him so I emailed him and asked if he'd like to meet up at another cache and I'd give him the decryption key. We met at a cache in the woods the next day and the restis history
My sister and her husband actaully set a cache after we got engaged in honor of us meeting through geocaching, she is so sweet :)

I picked up FH at the airport (JFK) too! Wasn't that just an amazing moment after talking for so long?

He's my high school sweetheart.
We met in high school, talked for a few weeks & then drifted apart. A few months later, my best friend had a huge crush on him & beinh 15 year old girls, I was put in charge of hooking them up. They lasted about 4 days & I was put in charge of breaking the news to him. I called him to tell him & spent hours on the phone with him. I had a boyfriend at the time. When my boyfriend broke up with me to go to college, my friends hooked FH & I up. We dated for a month & I dumped him & said 'You are ana amazing friend, but I could never date you long term. You drive me crazy!' We became best friends after that & ended up back together a year later. The rest is history

We met at work. I took this job at Genovese because I was poor and I needed money. I thought he hated me because he wouldn't talk to me and just give me these looks. We all started hanging out after work though and one day he asked me if I wanted to go to the movies but without the whole group.
