How did you meet your FH?

FH and I met when I got transferred to the precinct he worked in. We both worked Midnights. People think we were partners, but we actually were only on patrol together once... and he was yelling at me because I was driving while he was trying to write and it was making him nauseous! He bought me an egg sandwich and told me that I had the most beautiful green eyes he's ever seen! I was hooked!!

I met FH through his brother. Since they are really close in age and my sister and I are also we all went out bowling one night. I though FH was the cutest thing I'd ever seen! (He totally bowls like Fred Flintstone...the whole twinkle toes thing!) Fast forward a couple of months to my senior prom, FH and I had become really close friends and I had just broken up w/my bf so I decided to ask FH to the prom b/c I knew we would have a good time together. We flirted and held hands and stuff all night. He was so nervous to tell me he liked me that he had to write it on a piece of paper. I literally was dragging him through the prom to find someone who had a pen! Anyway we started dating that night and 5 years later on our anniversary he proposed.

My MOH introduced the two of us almost five years ago. We felt so comfortable with one another and were joking and teasing as if we knew one another for years.

I'm sorry, but I think we all need details!

For ten years my grandpa,grandma (married for 67 years) and cousin said he was my soulmate and were trying to hook us up but I lived in Mi and he lived on LI. My cousin would send him pictures of me in my bikini saying this is the girl you will marry. My Grandpa died 3 years ago and when he died I prayed to him and told him that I would make him proud and meet my FH. Went to Florida that Thanksgiving and my FH and I stayed up all night talking. He said he knew he wanted to marry me from the moment he saw me. Guess my Grandpa was right just wish he was here to see me walk down the aisle. Do you believe in love at first sight???

Nate and I met through a Christian group for singles (Christian Cafe). Miles in between us, we were both just looking to meet and share fellowship with other Christians our age. That was a void in my life that I knew would change everything for me....and it did, in the most amazing way!

We started talking back in November of 2003 and it was the most wonderful feeling to talk to someone who understands where you are coming from, someone who is as excited about God as you are. We had no idea where it was going. In fact, neither of us had any expectations or plans for a relationship. We were just friends who had a great connection, shared such a similar sense of humor that it was almost frightening! We just enjoyed having fulfilling conversations about our life stories, our faith and hopes. We lost contact for a while and then started talking again a few months later. It's hard to explain how we became a couple. I think everything changed once we began to pray about it together.

All too often people think that they know exactly what type of person they want to be with or should be with. They have this plan and picture in their head and move through life and relationships accordingly. The truth is that there is no better match-maker than God! We opened ourselves up to His plan, and trusted whatever that entailed...being friends, devoting ourselves to each other, meeting other people and supporting each other in that.

It turns out, God opened doors for us and revealed that we were destined to be with one and other. We have been together ever since and each day with eachother has been more fulfilling than the last. We have survived long distance and now we are happily together here in PA.

Seriously - what is the LIE story?

FH and I met at a youth group thing (USY) when we were about 16. We had the same group of friends all thru high school, college, and beyond and found ourselves both suddenly single 4 years ago so we tried the 'Friends with Benefits' thing.

It was a weird transition and it almost totally ruined our friendship and we stopped talking (and everything else) over the course of a summer.

Then he realized he couldn't live without me and wrote me an amazing email telling me he wanted to be together and the rest - as they say - is history.

When we really started dating, all of our friends were like 'FINALLY!'

In the weirdest place ever!

FH and I are such geeks we met on a Online game. We became the best of friends and started dating from there.

That is a great story!!!! It's hard to find someone you can have such a connection with.

We met in a chat room. I asked 'is anyone here from New York?' He said 'yes'. The rest is history. Even though there were people in the chat room from all over the world, my FH and I live about 10 miles away from each other.
