How did you meet your FH?

We met on a Disney website! He had just gotten out of a relationship with a horrible person... We talked a bit online then met in person and instantly clicked!!!

At a mixer with my sorority and his fraternity... we started talking, drank a little too much, and umm yeah... lol...

My friends still laugh at me that were there that night... that's a story for the grandkids, right?

HAHAH!!!

My story?

We went to a college party, I saw him, we hit it off and drank too much and... umm... yeah!

And we're getting married!

im bored so ill give the long version lol

well we grew up in the same neighborhood and infact grew up 2 blocks away from eachother BUT i didnt even know lol...when he was in college he delivered for this italian restaurant that i always ordered from so for 4 years he delivered to me. He still makes fun of me that i used to fix my hair once i saw it was him haha. He went to college with a friend of mine and for some reason i thought he was from another neighborhood. I used to always see him out at clubs and he knew alot of people i knew, but most of those people were my ex's friends and i was usually out with my ex when i would see him.

well years after seeing him out and always thinking he was hot we finally met lol...i used to go to this one club EVERY weekend and my friends tried to convince me not to go that night bc i was going way too much to this one place and they had reasons why i shouldn't...well nobody would come with me even when i said ok this will be my last time i just have a feeling i should go. Around midnight i got into my pj's to go to bed and a friend of mine called to ask if i wanted to go to this club(the one i wanted to go to) i thought about it for a few mins but then got out of bed and got dressed quickly and met up with her. Anyways she went over to go say hi to some friends but i saw my ex was there so i said ill wait for her on the other side...she was taking long so i went to get her and when i walked over i noticed who she was talking to(my fh) so i said to myself 'ok nevermind ill stand here' haha...he was there with 2 guys that were ex's of 2 of my friends so i knew them and was talking to them. One of his friends came up to me and asked me what i thought of fh. A few minutes later he came over and asked me to go to the bar with him to get a drink. Uhmmm months later i find out that the female bartender who served us he had hooked up with the week before LMAO but she did give us free shots so that was nice of her
but it was cute bc fh goes to shake my hand and says 'im joe' and asked me what my name was as soon as i said my name he said 'i know who you are denise' and i was shocked bc i thought he never noticed me and had no clue who the F*ck i was, but he even went on to say the street and boulevard i grew up on and how there was squirrel figurine on my awning hahaha he had remembered from delivering to me but i feel bad bc he also remembers me from when we were young teenagers and hanging out in the same school yard but i didnt remember him that well from back then but he also looked a bit different ...we go to leave the club and he gave me his jacket and said he'll walk me to my car, his friend quickly grabbed my friend and said 'come we'll drive you to your car let them walk alone' so fh stood outside of the car while we waited for my friend but she ended up calling and asked if it was ok that i drive him home and his friends, whom she knew very well can drive her home...but we drove around for a long time talking. He called the next day and that weekend we hung out and a week later we were official. See listen to your gut, i kept telling my friends that NO i HAVE to go i just have a feeling...maybe i just wanted to go and said that lol but hey it was a good thing i did go

the funny thing is that about 2 months before that i had seen him on myspace and kept checking his profile. I hadnt seen him out in a while so probably thats why lol...but 2 weeks before we met at the club, i was looking on this site that would post pictures they take at clubs and he happened to be at the same club as me and didnt even know it until the next morning i saw him in one of the pics, i was so annoyed bc i thought 'great when will be at the same club again'

oh WOW that was long, sorry...i cant sleep haha

I met FH through his cousin. His cousin and I met in graduate school and instantly became really good friends- next thing I know, she is trying to set me up with her cousin (FH) and he is trying to set her up with his best friend. They are now getting married a month after us and we are alll in each other's bridal parties! It's funny how things work out!

Ok Denise's story has inspired me to add onto my story.....

So FH's cousin and I were friends. She tried setting me up with FH but I wasn't feeling it at first. I had just gotten out of a relationship, my dad had recently died, etc... Just wasn't sure what I wanted. So FH and I initially just became very good friends-hung out all the time but just as friends.

Well one night, FH's cousin and I were hanging out with FH and his friend (the one she is now also engaged to) and they asked us to grab dinner. So we're at the restaurant and FH asks me what I want to drink but my head was pounding and I wasn't in the mood for a drink. Next thing I know, FH tells me he needs to use the bathroom... 10 minutes pass by and I'm starting to think that he fell in the toilet or something Meanwhile, when he comes back, he's holding a bottle of water and two tylenol's... He had walked 8 blocks in the city to find me medicine for my headache.

That's when I knew he was it.... I couldn't get over someone could be that sweet!!!

Then the next night, we went out for his birthday-again, just as friends.... All of a sudden, he tells me that his ex is there Now, I'm not the jealous type at all- but it just hit me right then and there, that I wanted to be with him and I didnt want anyone else with him. So that was it- I told him how I felt- he told me how he felt and we have been together ever since.

we met in college- we played lacross together, I knew the bartender one night out- was getting free drinks- he stuck to me like white on rice even though he was there with another girl... found him lurking around in my dorm that night because he lost his other friend whose room he was suppose to be staying in when the building caught on fire!!! (kind of ironic! hah) it was downhill after that!
