We are going next sat. to order the dresses. We originally all went to try on the dresses but some of my girls had a difficult time fitting into the dresses. I ended up going with one of my sisters to David's where I narrowed it down to 2. I'll make the final decision next week. I only have one bm out of state and she'll have to send me her measurements.

Started the search with my sister, since she is the hardest to please.. After finding a few dresses that I liked, I emailed around a pic of the dresses, and then brought a few girls with me to check them out. After much discussion (with THE sister) we came to a decision and then I took mostly everyone on one day to get measured and leave deposits. The two who were missing: one was ordering her gown there later on in the week, so she took care of the BM dress for herself then, and the other one is in FL so she called in with her measurements and I took care of it. I have 9 girls, plus a FG. But so far, not much drama and lots of laughs!

I have 5 adult girls. I went with my MOH and picked one out. I'm planning on getting them all together to order them. If that doesn't work out then I'll take them separately, but I def want to be there!

I have 5 girls. All live on LI but one, my SIL, she's from Syracuse.
The 4 came with me and they picked them out together. I emailed a pic to my SIL and she loved it too.

I am doing #3. It's to hard to get all my girls together! They are difficult BM's! Or at least one is!

Went with my MOH, we found a dress, showed the pic to everyone else (7 of them), they loved it. A group of us went one Saturday and they got measured and ordered, 5 of us, then the last three were on their own. Two of them went to the salon, and the last one called in her measurements over the phone.
sounds similar to what i think i'll do.
my MOH has already tried on the dress i love. i'm thinking of picking a day for them to try it on at a shop, then go to gownfind and have whomever can come measured and ordered.
otherwise, they can call in the measurements.
Trying to get them altogether at once was impossible, so we did the one bigger group and the rest went with their Moms/sisters/other family members of mine. That sounds like a good plan for your girls.
