I was curious how you decided on colors for the bridesmaid dresses? Im VERY torn right now and not sure what to do. Everyone tells me (all my non married friends LOL) to step back from it and it will come to me but as you guys know I cant do that. Im obsessed with it! LOL I keep researching and researching but I cant put my finger on the colors I want. I want these colors to be the theme for the evening.
I am torn between 2 total opposites. So I was just curious how did you guys decide on this? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I'm most likely going with blue. The biggest reason is its one of the only colors FH and I can both agree on!!

I saw pictures on the knot of sage and brown together and it looked so beautiful to me...so i chose them

I always wanted pink and then my FMIL passed away. She was wearing sage to our wedding, so I decided to do my MOH and matron in pink and my Bms in sage in memory of her.
That is a very sweet tribute to her.

I wanted blue BM dresses, but there is a million different blues and I didn't like the way it looked on my sister (MOH). She tried on this one dress and I fell in love with the color, so that is how I ended up getting spanish moss colored dresses. It was a color I would have never thought I would choose

my friend told me once u get the colors, it makes planning easier..i do feel that.. (=
as far as how i chose the colors.i searched color combos that i was interested in and imagined it in the season i'm getting married..i picked chocolate and pink..just very in love with this combo..good luck

FH LOVESSSSS Blue. I did not wat a 'Smurf' wedding, but we chose Navy. I think Navy looks good on all types of skin color.

I knew I wanted some shade of a green and since we are having the wedding late May, I opted for clover green (also cuz FH's family is Irish!). It's not too bright and we paired it together with white. Simple and clean and it will look good with all the different skin tones of my BMs.

i knew i wanted red but FH isnt too fond of it. we tossed around some color combos with red and originally came to red pink and champagne but i found it was too valentine day'ish so now we're doing red black and white..its a lil classier inmy opinion

i am of no help. it was so random. i know blue and gray seem so typical for a winter wedding. i think i just fell in love with my invitation and it all went from there. we are using a few random shades of blues and grays.

I finally picked mine TODAY and I've been mulling ideas around for months! I knew I wanted pink in there somewhere but wasn't sure how my entire bridal party would feel about wearing watermelon or raspberry dresses! I saw an invitation that I really liked with a gold trim.. so I knew I wanted some form of gold too....
So, I went with pink and gold... I picked Taupe Dresses for the party (a darker gold) and I'm doing all bright pink flowers, and gold invites! I am glad I stuck with what I wanted. It will all come together!
