How did you and FH pick your date? Is there a particular reason or just random?

I was not set on having a specific month or date. I had heard that December was a bit more affordable so, that appealed to me. I also looove Christmas and thought a winter wedding would add to the wedding since everyone will still be in the holiday spirit. It is also a budget saver for us because the church and hall will already be decorated for Christmas.

We definitely wanted spring or summer, but knew if we did spring we would have to hold off on our honeymoon as I am a teacher and wouldn't be able to take off. We decided to do early July, but the first weekend in July is my birthday, so we decided on July 3rd because its like a Fri with everyone being off and we were able to get a Sunday night price! :)
