Im meeting with some florists soon and would like to know if any florists design a sample centerpiece BEFORE you sign a contract, or is customary they do that afterward? TIA!!

It depends on the florists...I know some florist that design a sample before a contract and I know some that do It after you sign the contract.

Mine started creating something during our first meeting...and then had a final one for me to see before I signed the contract.

The first time I met with my florist they just showed me their book so I can have an idea about their work and a general idea of the kind of arrangements I like. They also estimated the number of tables and the number of people who will be needing the bouquets,corsages,etc...He said anything wont be final until 3 weeks before the wedding since anything can still change. As to choosing what kind of flowers I wanted and the final look of the centerpieces that's something I can scheduled anytime before the wedding.

my florist showed us pictures and will do the sample once contract is signed
