I just joined here yesterday and since then I have been getting emails upon emails from different vendors. It's clogging up my inbox! Is there any way I can get these emails?

from what i remember, i got them to stop by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of one of them and they all stopped

i dont think there is a way to stop them right now. when i first joined same thing happened to me. i just marked all the ones i really didnt want as spam...it eventually dies down.

i just created a new folder in my emails called wedding spam, lol. i only joined last saturday night and i've gotten at least 150 emails. wait till the postcards start coming in the mail.

WHOA I dont think I got any emails.. But I always check the 'do not send me any email' button. Im not sure if the option was available on here. But also wait for the phone calls and post cards.. Those are fun..

oh my gosh!! i got so many emails i emailed liweddings about it... there should be some sort of privacy setting on here that you can CHANGE!!! if i get a phone call i will be super pissed. i had to make a wedding spam folder as well...the regular mail is starting to happen to..i say don't waste your paper...one envelope from a hairdresser was so sticky and nasty and then i openend it and it was a regular computer typed 'flyer' type of thing...ewwww i would never even consider that vendor.
when you signed up they had this big list and they asked you which things you still needed help planning with (i don't think i unchecked ANY of them b/c i had just gotten engaged)....

the emails will die down soon and the phone calls are few and far between...i wouldnt worry about it...just try to unsubscribe to as many of those emails as you can now so you dont keep getting them for the next 2 years!!!

When I signed up I set up a wedding only email address. I suggest you unsubscribe. a bit time consuming, but it will help.

How do you guys think liweddings.com makes their money.....? We don't pay a fee do we?
How do you think Televsion makes there money? You just turn it on...except for cable of course

It is free for us brides and in my case, former brides......but they gotta pay the bills right?
I think you just get the mail and emails when you first sign up.....and then it dies down. And check off the I don't want email box.
But don't blame the vendors...I am sure they pay a pretty penny to be here.

good point..
i was able to get them to stop.. i just dont have the time to read them all- too many!! and since we're not getting married til 2010 i have some time before i choose my other vendors.
